Seen more Diesel's on road, than Petrol- So will look into the best available option.

Do they not offer only ABS rather than Airbags & ABS. I got a call from Galaxy Toyota today, will meet them on Sunday.

Any particular details, issues I need to be aware of in the Innova Family, So I can ask if this or that has rectified, the Smoke and ECU issues which were there sometime back- Any indication on what series onwards were the resolutions made.
hey Wolfinstein
even i am grappeling with this Q of whether innova or Safari Dicor. I will never have time to go to dealer for too frequent maintenance and hence wondering if safari would be a good choice at all...innova fits the bill totally
any thoughts?

They offer ABS and Airbag only on V spec Innova. I waited for long time and realized they are not going to offer at leats for now ABS as option on all their models. Otherwise I would have baught the dual AC and ABS model.

Try to choose If they permit Innova with Bridgestone tyre rather than goodyear.

For bad/adultered Diesel quality CRDi engines are sensitve so smoke issues are common but year by year car manufacturers tuned their engines and component. Innova has no major changes since its launch however since my relative works in Toyota factory I can see they do tune it every year based on feedback and testing.

Ravi.

my innova diesel had developed smoke problems. but when service was due they changed 2 or 3 parts under warranty and the smoking completely stopped. even at the redline there is no smoke at all. diesel would infact have better resale than a petrol in india.

A fake peace of muffler made in chrome over the stock muffler of the car.

Just for aesthetic purposes.

I went in today at Galaxy Toyota, Checked out the D varient.

Some strange complexities in the Innova range seating :

1) For a Company registered car- The Diesel has to be only 7 seater and Petrol cannot be registered under company name- Has to be in the Individual's name.

2) Semi Commercial- would require Yearly Fitness Certificate, Speed Governer( 60 Km/ph Limit), NCR Border Permits- Through Banas Sands Toll.

3) Does not offer Registration Number choice, Since they do Online Registration of Vehicle.
