Like 1100D said, check out the Spacio Gold. Personally, I feel that the NA engine with 68 bhp & about 130 Nm is not enough to pull this two tonner effectively. And you dont get the TCIC on any model other than the GX.

I asked "can somebody CHECK", not "can somebody BET".

Nevertheless I checked the TM website and found this as the Victa specification: 90 bhp. Now that sounds like the TCIC. The other versions mention NA engines, but not the Victa.

TATA Motors - Utility Vehicles
Thats the Sumo Victa GX turbo. Other Victa's are NA (Naturally Aspirated - maning has no turbo - I just wrote this for the thread originator)

Even the Indirect injection Turbo'd car canbe a handful on loaded hill climbs. Thats where Direct Injection or CRDI/Dicor would help.

Edit: I just checked the site, it does not seem that it is updated in a long time. But now the old faced Sumo as shown in SE and SE+ on the site is no more. They are Sumo Victa SE and SE+ etc, so All Sumo's are Victa's or Spacio's.

Well, just a reflection of a growing attraction towards the Dicor . And a recent miss that I had for a top-end, fully loaded VX.

When the Victa was introduced, Tata Motors offered the TCIC as an option on the GX & EX. Both were available with NA also. Tata Motors later simplified the offerings to the TCIC for the GX (GX Turbo) and the NA for the LX & EX versions. Been so for more than 2 yrs now.
