I think you have the right choice with you - Toyota Innova. It gives 12~14 KMPL. The re sale value is the best in the catagory and 2005 vehicles are getting up to 8 Lakh. You may get up to 40K as discount because of the year end and with finance payout this can go up.

New Innova in 2008 If launched it will be just cosmetic additions so nothing new about it.

In City one can expect from Innova D between 9 and on highway upto 16kmpl based on driving style/conditions with Ac on.

Petrol Innova would return between 7 to 14 based on city/highway with AC on.

Toyota's focus is on new corolla then fortuner and small cars. in due course new Innova or totally new MPV in 2010.

Diesel Innova has very good resale value similar to NHC. 2005 Innova V spec. diesel version fetch 9+ in bangalore (new vehicle price is 12+ lacs. on road)

Custom Innova with 6 captain seats would awasome although i like 8 seator Innova for my requirement.

Of course it shall be lying in Toyota's yard. But I got my Corolla the same way and it looked absolutely brand new to me. The 2007 production model had a 50K discount, but I got the 2006 production model at 105K discount. Admittedly, the options are less (model and colour), but fortunately I got the model and colour I wanted (silver). In fact, I wanted to buy the H3 but with the additional discount, I could buy the H4.

Thanks guys, lets see how much discount i can get. Currently i have got this finance qoutation.

That means a 40K discount on down payment, which seems low for Delhi; but could be it for Mumbai. With or without finance, the insurance seems high and should be reduced by around 3K (dealers keep this). If you are hard enough, this amount can be reduced. I should know, for Corolla H4, on an invoice value of 12.17L, insurance amount was 11.5L, but premium was 39K, instead of 43K. Also cashless in both cases.

I do not know about Toyota dealers in Mumbai, but in Delhi at least, shopping around does not save much, since the dealers are willing to walk away. If one dealer says 50K discount, the other dealer did not say 55K, and so on and so forth. I can see 40K as discount on own money, and 77K on financing. Maybe you can save 2-3K (get some accessories), but also 2-3K on insurance.

Yeah i can get a better deal with a bit of bargain. BTW the dealer he forgotten to add cess in the invoice, which adds the cost further.

Are you sure he has forgotten the cess. This must be a proforma quotation with perhaps cess included. Thus the prices may be incl. of all taxes. Also Toyota dealers may be willing to give some accessories also, esp. since this is year end, and generally at all times. No matter what you bargain, keep in mind that insurance figure is inflated and you can get cashless insurance at lower amount.

New Innova If it comes in 2008 won't have much additions except reverse parking sensor, optional ABS on G4 model too, automatic climate control (Chances are very less but it might come), 1 or 2 new colour. Limited edition of innova with double color.

All the new additions except automatic climate control,ABS/AirBAG we can add to our existing models too.

Based on customer's feedback they will bring new models every year begining, so its nothing major change, thats what I heard and its not from official source.

Official source say next 2 years no changes on Innova since Toyota busy in bringing new model of corolla and then Fortuner in small scale 2008 end or 2009.
