Default Gypsy MPFi

Hi Guys,

I have been trying for a long time but not able to find an MPFi Gypsy in Delhi/NCR.

Does anyone have any idea where can i find one and for a decent price?

Regards.

Best of luck buddy. Try Carwale.com, spread the message to all auto dealers and be prepared to visit nearby cities and WAIT..

I had to wait for more than a year before I could get a decent 1.3 MPFI King. But the wait was worth it..

Last week I was crossing Karol Bagh, and I saw a Gypsy King on Gurudwara Road with a 'For Sale' hoarding on it.

The vehicle was black in colour and it had a black canvas soft top.
You can always check the roads adjacent if you have not already checked.

Guys is there any difference between Gypsy King and Gypsy MG410W, or is it the same thing, regardless of whether it is Hard Top or Soft Top?

Regards.

The Gypsies pre 97 are NOT wide track. Secondly. the gypsies have a better low end torque than the kings which have the 1.3 esteem engine 5 speed gearbox with 4wd [low and high].

The gypsies have only a 4 speed gearbox [with 4wd low and high].

The kings have a better accelaration and top speed than the gypsies..but when it comes to off road, both are very similar. I've seen tough situations being done both by the King and the gypsy in a similar manner.

Hope this clarifies!

Default MPFi

Okay, what the heck is a Gypsy MPFi?

Anybody know what the real fuel average is of a 1.3 Gypsy? I have heard everything from 6 to 12.

Gypsy King has a 1.3 L, MPFI engine delivering 80 BHP power. It is the same engine block that is used in Esteem and the Swift.

I own one, and can safely say that it makes a hell lot of difference in the Gypsy. A lot of my friends have the old 1.0L, 1.3 Carb Gypsy, and they say that the MPFI is a gem.

However, a used & good MPFI Gypsy King is very very hard to find

I have been using it in Bangalore and usually get anywhere between 10 - 11 KM/L

410 = 1.0 liter engine. 413 = 1.3 liter engine. The W stands for wide-track.

You could try looking at Sector-14, gurgaon. There are a lot of car dealers there, and they kind of showcase their cars in hordes all through the weekends. so you could take a stroll there.
