I think it will not be more than 20 something. or 2 lakh more than the manual version ( considering auto box and the 4WD)

I bought Cedia a year back and had expressed my desire to the dealer that when new Montero gets launched, they should get me one for test drive. To my surprise few months later, I got a call from Lathangi sales manager asking when would I like to td Montero.

I drove it for good 30 mins. and since then it is on my mind. I have driven Prado but found Montero to be better in comparison. Mitsubishi has produced legendary SUVs and Montero is their flagship product in this segment.

Waiting for the day when I would have the courage to shell out 40 for my dream SUV, Montero.

You will find a lot of Montero fans on tbhp. If only Mitsu can bring it under 30L, they will find a lot of takers.

I too am at times, contemplating wether to go in for the Montero or not. It feels pricey at times, and then when i look back at the options we have, and the prices we are paying for our options, it looks allright, i havent driven one yet, so maybe if i drive one, i will know how exactly it feels.

The Automatic AWD Captiva is displayed at the Autocar Performance Show 2008, Mumbai. January 2008 launch and a 1.5 lac premium over the existing Captiva. Which makes it 24L OTR Mumbai. 5-speed automatic and AWD are the only changes. This is all according to the Chevy fellow at the stands.

Default AWD Captiva A/T

Here are pictures of the AWD Captiva A/T at the Autocar Performance Show 2008. GM really has no marketing sense whatsoever. I doubt anyone even noticed that this was the AWD A/T and not the regular one. They were either busy with the LP or the GT-R or whatever else. Atleast a banner and some eye-catching posters to let us know this Captiva is a little different from the one standing next to it !! Idiots. Anyway I love this car, and it's even better in the new avatar.

Exactly my point. Read my previous posts. January launch, 1.5 lac premium. No other changes apart from AWD and 5 speed A/T.

The manual had only 2 main drawbacks, the turbo lag and the poor gear shift quality and it was a FWD. The AT removes all kinks now. With the AT turbo lag will not be felt.

It is AWD but does it have diff lock or high / low range settings - manual or switch? Without these it remains a on-roader only. More like CRV package.

Have seen only one at Tvm till date.

'Heard its got a bad turbo lag issue. Tuning that engine to 150bhp and still. Should have put in a bigger motor instead of squeezing out the juice of that engine.
