Default My SUV options are very limited! :(

Hi guys. I need to buy an SUV for general use soon. The budget is around 10-22L. CR-V is ruled out because I hate the car. Captiva's ruled out because two of my friends already have it, and I don't want the same car as them. Scorpio etc. are ruled out because I'm looking for luxury SUV's in the CR-V, Captiva mould.

Someone suggested Tiguan, but it looks like a baby Touareg and looks somewhat small compared to the other cars I mentioned...

Any suggestions? Should I wait?

I'm not sure what the current market's like in this segment. Are Tuscon's available? its not luxury, but fairly dependable. How about Prado's? Looking at the numbers in Kerala,I'm pretty sure there are a few on sale.

You are a picky fella. I think your choices are down to:

Endy
Pajero 2.8
Suzuki GV
X-Trail

If you don't care about going off-road or 4WD go for he X-Trail or Grand Vitara.

Car has to be brand new. So not sure about Prado's.
GV's out of the question, have heard some horror stories.
Tuscon is a fairly old car, isn't it?
Endeavour's too big. Captiva, CR-V size is perfect (ladies also will drive)
X Trail sounds like a decent option. How much does it cost?

Thanks for prompt replies.
