Hi,

I would love it if they would get them thick tubeless tyres straightaway but I guess that's how they increase owner participation with the Bolero.

How are your brakes doing? I am planning to get one soon, so please to tell. Anyway one can get abs on the next lot?

Regards,

Chaunfa.

The brakes are good but something else is not. The detailed episode is on my ownership thread. And I don't think Bolero will ever come with ABS

Heeheehee, change the signature to Scorpio :-) Did you buy the VLX trim? I doubt it since your Storm VLX kind of touches the Scorpio SLE.

Thats the best buy, by the way :-)

@akshay:

Smart move. I keep repeating it but most bolero fans dislike my view that Bolero has lived past it's useful life. Unless you are planning on getting the base Bolero as a farm vehicle, you are much better off with a Scorpio as a personal vehicle.

No,We didnt even TD the Scorpio.
Well,as for the change in Decision,it was a spontaneous decision, and came from higher authorities(i:e Grandmother)

She was like, after 10 years with a bolero you are buying another one
So next choice had to be the Scorpio.
I had a TD'ed the VLX,it was amazing,the engine,the torque,everything was good.
But the interiors were almost same as our 10 year old vehicle.
@4x4 addict, bolero was our first choice,so bought scorpio for a change, and it should keep us happy.
but whenever i see a pimped up whilte bolero,my heart still beats for it.
@Redliner,the price difference between Bolero VLX and Scorpio SLE is exactly 2L for ex shwroom prices.

I fully agree with the above. Wise move. My congratulations to you Akshay.I'll be eagerly waiting for your ownership report. Let your scorpio ownership report be a guiding light to misguided fathers-in-law planning to buy boleros for their sons-in-law. Sigh! I feel so jealous when hearing about bolero folks upgrading to a Scorp. Mera number kab aayega?!!

MM let me tell you I have been working on making the Storm as potent as Scorpio if not more. Some changes in Data Set of ECM and final drive ratio and you should really raising a storm . And all that for 7 Lakhs I think is a steal.
