Same issue. Also, I have not been able
to figure out how to send a multi quote reply - personally felt the old app was more intuitive.

Or am I missing it? Can anyone guide me as yo how to use search in the latest version on iPhone app? Thanks!!

The new app logs you off for the first time. The functionality is limited if you don't log back in. Login and check

I would have wanted to see a chat option to chat with someone online

The one thing I really miss from the old app was the way the search functionality was embedded.

I'm on the lookout for a new car, and I used the old app to read up ownership reviews and team-BHP reviews extensively. So if I wanted to read about the Jetta, I would just go to the ownership reviews section, pull the screen down and type in Jetta and read through them all. Rinse and repeat for other searches in other forums. That's one thing I do miss big time

I cant see latest threads updated, of the two categories

1. All time
2. New threads created

It helped me to keep coming back to TBHP iphone app to check on latest threads and any new updates to the old thread (as every time it would be some new threads which I wouldnt have explored)

Now, the app is pretty much like site and I should know which sections and threads I want to go to.

Please have the "latest threads" back in the iPhone app.

In iOS have to use timeline. That will give you the option to see latest replies. Hope you are referring to this?

Am very sorry but in my considered opinion the app for iphone and ipad are a complete disaster. I have updated the apps on the iphone and ipad last night or very early this morning when I came back from overseas and later during the whole of today, while trying to use the app, I have been consistently disappointed.
The interface is useless. One cannot see the latest post on a particular topic even if one was the latest contributor.
The movement between pages is very weird because everything appears in the form of a confusing thread.
Fifteen minutes ago, I figured that one can move to web view and have done so. Ahh! This is so much better! I am now actually vastly preferring to view everything in the 'web view' format.
Can you give us an option to choose between the new 'app look' and the 'web view' look so that one doesnt have to move to web view look everytime one logs on?
Sorry for this blunt feedback but I will not use this silly app if it is not 'user friendly' as per my lights. I would much rather just access TBHP via logging on to the website.
Having said that, the convenience of the app but the views in web page form, was, to me, a very convenient combination.

I agree with Shankar here. The tapatalk integration is not user friendly. One cannot see the latest post of the thread in the thread listing. The adjustable font size is also gone. The separate tab for stickies was good. Now one has to scroll down through the stickies to read the main threads.

I am joining Shankar and Sagar to say the iPhone app update is not a step forward. Even the push notification lost its charm. It got this "__FR_PUSH_0M_1M".

I regretted updating my iPhone5 to iOS7 and now this app. Is there a way I can get to the previous version?

One more thing. The app suddenly starts hanging. Then it crashes and disappears completely and the iPad or iPhone just goes back to their respective home screens. One has to then re-enter the app and it says 'logging in' for a bit and only then comes back on. Both my machines are in perfect condition as are their software updates etc.

In the iPhone app,
1) I can't find the "Current" feature.
2) There's an option for Signature, shouldn't it sync with the Signature on the web version?
3) I tried to upload a photo, getting a upload fail (security error, user may not have permission to this feature). I have uploaded images in the web version. So I believe its an error.
4) Is it possible to multi quote with this new app?

Where else do you want me to post?
Is there a separate 'New TBHP updated app for iOS' thread?
I cant find one such and hence am grumbling on this thread.
Even as we speak I am typing on the app on my iPad but using web view.

Just noticed, the search results are not the same in this app compared to the web version. Foe example I searched for "android app". In the web version "Team-BHP App for your Android Phone and Tablet" is the first result. Not on this app.

Thanks for the new app, when can we expect the update as mentioned by GTO?

Is there any way to get back the Older App? The updated version is pretty confusing and not user happy.

1) The subscriptions remain 'Unread' even after reading and Where is the 'Thanks' button.

2) If I click 'report' it opens a dialogue box saying 'It is a Spam!'

3) How to Select two or more posts and reply?

Sorry to say but I am using the browser on my mobile to access Team-BHP.

Anurag.

If you've synced with iTunes or have a jail broken iphone with app cake, you can delete the app on your phone and install it via iTunes.

If you cannot find the old app in iTunes ,check the recycle bin.

It should be there.
