Here are my set of pics. Like I said, not too many.

I'll leave Asdon to explain this one! His prized catch!

One of my part time hobbies. There were several other pics of birds, but considering they were spotted on the other side of the pond, the pics are quite blurred.

This one's called the White Eye. Looking at the size n color, I initially wondered if they were Humming birds, but these shots helped clarify!

The Red Whiskered Bulbul. This was the most common bird around the estate. Hard to get too close to them.

There was what appeared to be a Kingfisher. But, didn't manage to get a clear shot, since it was on the other side of the pond. The beak is quite visible, but the rest of the body is blurred - not worth posting.

While walking back ..

I graciously accept the compliment and hope that 2 years from now I hear nice things about me riding a Ninja as well!

@KarthikK, Royalcruiser and Vinay --- amazing pics! Really nice stuff!

I generally dont like using the word cute but it was really cute to see the way the kids were clinging onto their dads!

Floyd.Bell's kid rarely left him, alphaKilo's kid rarely left him and Schowdhury's kid rarely left him! It was really cute and heartwarming to see such affection.

Guys, thanks for the lovely pics and the narration. I did take a few pics, and here's some of them.

A view of NH-48, some time after we started off from the 1st meeting point. Lovely roads, and some good speeds. We were often in 3 digits, but the high point was the way the OHC took off, leaving every one else behind. Nikhil too did stretch the Civic's legs around here.

Re-group at Aldur cross:

Aldur junction seems to have been a resting point for travellers of yore:

Pics on the Aldur cross to Aldur section:

Another re-group, I think it was after Aldur & before SS Pete:

A view of the resort, from the room we had:

Some of the cars at the resort, parked for the evening:

After the nap, Shishir, his son & I went up the hill, past the cottage. This led to a couple of clearings that were not used for a long time.

NH-48 was awesome!! The stretch in the picture which condor has posted, I could see the road wide and clear and decided to stretch the ohc's legs. Hit the century in no time ;-).

A big thanks to all, amazing pictures!

Cheers
Shrey

I remember, just after we left from the 1st meeting point, I stopped for re-fuelling. I thought everyone would be doing around 80-90 as instructed by Asdon and I will catch up with you guys sooner. I started doing 130-140 and still you guys were nowhere to be seen only until when I reached Mayura. That is when I realised that this is not going to be one easy ride

Will keep you in loop of the next one for sure.

@Guyfrmblr - amazing snaps and nice captions. post any remaining ones too
@royalcruiser - fantastic bird photos man, those photos rock! glad to see you covered the breakfast meet too!
@condor - beautiful pictures sir, especially the ones of the long train-like convoy with coffee estates in the background. Please post any remaining pictures that you have sir.

@others - where are your photos? 48 hours have elapsed and not even a single photo. I saw some 15-20 cameras at work there in the resort and only 5-6 people have uploaded here

This time nothing substantial sir. Just a humble 18-55mm stock lens for scenery and a 55-200mm for people.

sniper style because I was taking pics from a distance without people being aware.
More shots coming in chronological order sir. My next post/report is due by tonight. Will try to go home early and resume the t-log/report from where I left off yesterday, not sure if I can match IronH4wk's expectations for mugshots but I will try.

So what would be the complete kit then Hats off to your black Linea, very well maintained. Would this have any top end gains on the regular Linea?

Complete kit - 10-24mm wide angle + 18-55mm stock + 55-200mm telephoto.
Thanks for the compliments sirji. I use it only on weekends and for highway drives, so it hasn't got any scratches and kisses from bangalore's traffic yet (thankfully)

Versus the regular linea?
Regular linea - 90bhp power / 113 Nm torque
my stock T-Jet linea - turbocharged upto boost of 2.2 bar = ~120bhp power / 210 Nm torque + 16" wheels + all 4 discs. Turbo'ed acceleration is insane beyond 1800rpm in all gears. Gains in low-end, mid-end and high-end

This was clearly evident from what I observed in Kadur - Tumkur stretch. T-Jet was just flying. One yellow board Innova was desperately trying to overtake you but was left in the dust at the end.
