Delhi-NCR Team-BHP meet 1st july

Kind attention Delhi-NCR BHPians,

It's been a while, we had a proper team-bhp meet. So, i am planning a meet on 1st july ( sunday ) , more details of the meet are mentioned below :-

Date- 1st july, being a sunday it will be convenient for majority to join

Place- If you guys are okay with a drive meet this time, then we'll plan for meet on NH1 or NH8, or if you guys want it to be it in Delhi, we'll plan it in Delhi itself.

Please pour in your suggestions for the place, my vote goes to a morning to drive to NH1 to haveli or some other similar place with sufficient parking and good food.

Timings- Any depending upon, we meet for breakfast/lunch/dinner. If you guys want to come along family, we can plan for dinner too.

So, guys need your help to decide regarding Place/Time.

And please do post your attendance status along

Hi Sameer,

Please bear with me as I am again marking myself in the Tentative list. I couldn't make it last time but I am not too sure this time as well. If I am in the city, I am going to attend this meeting for sure. I will be able to confirm my presence one day in advance so please bear with me.

Can we not make this meet like the latest Mumbai / Pune meet? I think we need to finalize CP or any other place in Central Delhi.

Why Central Delhi?

• NH1 (Murthal) - Too far for bhpians from Noida / Guragon.
• NH8 (Gurgaon / Behror / Manesar) - Too far for bhpians from Ghaziabad.

If people love to drive then my first preference will be Haveli (NH1).

And as far as the place and time is concerned, Haveli seems like a good proposition. How about a nice, relaxed morning drive there, and then lunch?
Being a Sunday, hopefully NH 1 will be in a good, non trafficky mood

Plus I love nice excuses for hitting the open roads of Sunday mornings! What better company than my fellow bhpians?

Will most likely be on the road somewhere in the hills, but If not - I'll attend

Going by the responses, i guess we should add a poll for choosing the destination.

It have to be either in Delhi or NH1 ( haveli ), NH8 is also an option but there's too much of traffic out there and, add to that there aren't any good place on the highway to eat. NH1 is relatively good to drive, without much traffic, plus you get a lot of eating options to choose from.

MODS: Please add poll for deciding destination for the meet, It has to be either NH1 or in central Delhi.

We'll go ahead with destination, which gets most of the votes.

Put me in the tentative list too. Will attend for sure if I am in Delhi. I think some of the members were not happy with haveli last time since they had to travel a lot. So we can meet up inside delhi this time. How about the art house mocha in vasant kunj? Nice hang out place I guess. NH8 is a strict no. The highway is so full of traffic all the time.

I am fine with anyother place too.

Going by the responses on this thread, i guess most of the members are more comfortable meeting in Delhi itself, BTW i have requested MODS to put up the poll.

If the meet is in Delhi, I'll prefer it to be in either Central Delhi or South Delhi.

Just waiting for poll results, to decide on destination.

Yup has to be central or south delhi only. I prefer south. CP is too boring now and is crowded most of the times.

BTW thanks sameer for taking up the initiative!
