Delhi Meet - wham, bam, whoops, its Sam

Hello all,

Some time in June, I (the ghoomta phirta TBHPmeet) had met the lafadas from Delhi:

iRaghava, aZa (Blingboy), Hellspawn and Fuelled. It was a muggy, alcohol soaked night. Here are the pictures. Sorry for the delay.







Blingboy on the road. He had 3 changing colours of lights under the car and an assortment of decals and what-not. Quite cool



Then the next night, I met up with Gunbir, Autophile, Autopsyche and Mukul

Had a few drinks at Shalom and proceeded to eat some of the best kababs I've ever eaten in my LIFE! EVER!






Then in the morning, low-bass-makker came to makke a big noise with his car. It was fun fun fun and his car was bloody loud, I promise you.



See you all soon - possibly all together next time? Maybe we can all go and eat those amazing kababs.
Lafadas making bhasad and eating Kakori Kababs. Buss, vahaan le jaiyyo. Subah kooda lene banda aayega.

Hey... what place in Delhi has jim morrison pics up on the wall?! :S... and sam, were those best kababs of yours from the great indian kabab factory?! Cause I didn't know shalom served great kababs

Hey ghost - I dunno the name of the place the lafadias will know- but it had like rock legends all over the place - but the DJ was a real penis. He kept blasting strange music into an almost empty pub. I had nice company though..

The best local food of a city is rarely had in a fancy restaurant. Shalom has great ambience but passes off bad food as meditarreanean cuisine.
Nope, i was treated to the real thing, street food at someplace in south delhi, Vasant Vihar maybe? Gunbir will know.
Now only was i treated to positively the best kabas i had, i was given a short history of the lucknowi kakori kabab - by the gourmet Gunbir.

Now i wanna eat at that famous place near the masjid at old delhi. Karim's I think it's called. AND i wanna eat like a real solid Aloo paratha, more aloo less aata.
And some more choley kulchey. Yay!

Haha... looks like you a food junkie like me Sam. The best aloo paratha's i've ever eaten in Delhi were in the MAMC campus (maulana azad medical college). And where else can you eat em at like 3 in the morning! But for that you need to know someone at the college.

Not a local joint, but next time you in Delhi try out this place called The Big Chill in Khan Market. The best italian food (other than at flavours) can be found there. Or for thai food, go to Ego Thai at New Friends Colony. Talking about NFC, you MUST try out the shawarma's at this famous shady lebenese joint called Al Bakes there... you'll never turn back!

Ahhh... remenesence of my good ol' college days!

The best Kakori kebab's in Delhi according to me are found at Salim's in Khan Market , in the backlane of the female wear store - Bizzare.

As for the Jim Morrison Pics, I think you are talking about the Morrison Cafe in South Extention.

Anyway , great to hear that you had a great time !
