The Pune Festival Parade Thread - Team-BHP

Greetings all.

The annual Pune festival vintage and classic car and bike parade will be held on sunday, 3rd sept at 10 am at le meridian hotel....this time im told that there will be modern day supercars and bikes gracing the event, including some italian exotica...the event should wrap up by lunch time...

What an event. The cars we breath taking.
A meet indeed took place but with all the beauties around no one was in mood to chat as everyone was busy taking pictures.
Here are photos from the event.

RR Phantom - this car has amazing road presence.

Two RR Phantom side by side, you don't see this very often

Few old Rolls Royce - inall there were 6 Rolls present.

Hello All,
I dont know if there exists a thread for exotics in Pune. So, here goes.
All these beauties were captured in a Car Rally at Le Meriden. Since this was a public event I purposely did not erase the registration nos.

Well, here's my 50 cents....errr...paisa!
BMW 645Ci

White CLS 500, with red Italian ( I guess!!) leather. Awesome Combination.

The 308GTS, which is present at almost every car rally.

Rolls Royce Phantoms...
As if 1 Phantom didnt have enough road presence, 1 more landed up. Both the Pune Phantoms were present. What a sight!!

The mother of all grills...!!

Nissan 300ZX, which has been discussed on this forum before, also participated.

Porsche Cayenne Turbo, what a beast!

Wannabe-SLR SL 500. This is the same SL 500 which has the SLR nosejob. Couldnt take a pic from the front as there was a HUGE crowd there.

Just look at this line-up....a car for every occasion.

That is the 1937 Rolls Royce Phantom II....in immaculate condition. And oh yeah, thats me, in not-so-immaculate condition!

The best of the show, the Lamborghini Gallardo SE.

That's me with the Gallardo!!

Apart from these also seen were pre-war Skoda, a willy's jeep. The classic MG convertibe ( i keep forgetting it's name), and a lot of other classic cars.
What a day I had...!!
