April 22nd sounds good, though it's gonna be H.O.T.!! But heck, if we leave early, it shouldn't be too bad. Maybe even make it an overnight stay in Pune, have a good barbeque on Sunday night, hit the road early Monday morning for the trip back to Mumbai.

No use doing it more than a month in advance RT, by the time we come to the designated date half the people would have lost interest. Start it in early April.

Nah alto is not made for such ghats :| I will be riding. Yeah you can come along infact I would be glad. yes the earlier the better as I hate to ride in hot weather, Am fine with 6 am too

@ moral & techno......that route is my daily commute to work,

I can vouch for the road upto Pirangut... I should imagine the road from there to Lavasa will be even better since the traffic is less.
