When does the bar open ? some bars open at 12.00. we dont want to miss the action in the bar, do we ? n_aditya, headers, manx, SB, arka, except nitrous ?????

well, we spoke to the BarMan, and he;s agreed to screen the F1 for us, as long as people drink! (now i dont think that will be a problem!!! )so folks, get yourselves down to Benz Park, in TNagar (TP Road / Bazzullah road JN) on Sunday by 1130.

Cannot confirm until Sunday. But if you guys can assure me that i might be able to sell at least 50 of the T-BHP stickers that are stuck with me, i can make it.

Disclaimer : I will not be discussing F1 maneuvers, I am more familiar with maneuvers of the other kind.

A lot of inactive members need those stickers.So, dont worry about selling them,Mr.Sticker dealer!
Btw, Not many are too keen about F1 GP.But, We change them ALL !

hey are u sure benzz park has a car park large enough to accomodate so many of our cars ?

by the way, the motor vikatan guy has been nagging me to organize a foto shoot on Sunday morning....it seems the write up has been lying with him for almost 2 months now for the need of good fotos of the group
he says even 9 or 10 a.m is fine...all he needs is maximum turnout of members (with their cars & their families)

anyone game ?

I am OK as long as there is enough of a crowd with families in tow - ajo, slip, aditya, sAP, headers etc etc. And ofcourse nitrous with his girlfriend(s).

Well, the Malaysian F1 meet in chennai did happen.
It was ok. Thanks to Arka, ajo , fancyplayer and his brother ,Madan and Subbu for making it happen.
Ironically, the regular folks who make it to meets and i never doubt their attendance didnt make it.

Jai, I spoke with Charles and told him that its next to impossible to get most of the chennai members with their better halves to a meet since people have weekend commitments. When the numbers increase like Bangalore or Mumbai, we mite see some really active members and then we can work out something.

Cant make it this weekend. Have an offsite company meeting.

29th Apr sounds ok for me as the weekend after this i will be busy shifting residence.

Sorry Nitrous couldnt make it to the f1 meet. Had to meet my future landlord for finalising some things before i start shifting. Hope you guys had fun.

Is there some way to find all members from Chennai and message them regarding meets ? I seem to check this thread very infrequently.
Would have loved to join as I stay close to Benz Park. Am available this weekend and the next. However not available for the last weekend in April.

Go to "Members List" menu and do an advanced search entering only the location field as "Chennai". I did and see 701 members from Chennai.

Do we really have that many members from Chennai ? If so, why is our meet attendance never been more than 20 odd (and that's just once I guess) ? And ofcourse this does not include the guys who would have entered location as Madras or some other wierd stuff (like me for instance).

But PM-ing all these people would be a pain I guess. Maybe there is an option for that also - like creating a buddy list containing all these people and just sending a PM to that list. I am not sure though.
