Default Random images from my cam! (II)

Vintage cars on the way to pick up drivers.

Drivers getting a parade around the circuit. Man, it is hot and wonder how they get to survive this!!

One DNF here. This Merc broke down during the parade. It was Hamilton's car!! But he had a wonderful race.

F1 cars going into the pits. That is the pit entrance between 2 cones.

Spectators' car parking areas. Cars were being parked with great order without any unnecessary blocking etc..

The track used to be cleared of any debris after any activity before the race.

It was hot outside and inside the umberella. Chhatri ke neeche kya ho raha hai??

DNF!! Who was it???

Fantastic report Sam. I am in agreement with Mobikes suggestion. I also think that this should be moved to the collection of the best threads section. Jiyo Sam Jiyo.

By the way Dippy, it did rain on qualifying day & race day - just not during the event thats all. We got quite a few drops while we were waiting for the circuit shuttle on qualifying day (post qualifying) and it was raining LIKE HELL on Raceday, an hour or so after the race, when we were midway between the circuit & the airport

Wow.. what a read this has been. Revati & I had a blast reading this thread. I dont know which has been more fun - being at KL/Sepang with the gang or reading about it
Sam, thanks for all BSW (blood, sweat, tears) you put into organising this and then following up with this Pulitzer winning report.
It was good to meet up with the gang. As has been said before, it was amazing how we came together and got along like a house on fire although most of us didnt know each other in person.

Here's to more such meets.
