guys,i have been following this thread since the first post for quite some time now.agreed i may have not posted much (and anyway,even though i have been around since april2004,the total no. of my posts equals that of someone who joined last month),but like iraghava said,without any dates coming up,how can i say for sure?every date that is coming up is getting postponed.i havent arranged many meets/functions/conferences etc etc i agree,but i have the maturity to understand that its not easy.still,fixing the dates is the most important thing.
all may not be able to attend on the dates proposed,but lets try to get a majority here.and i agree that the dates suitable for most may not be suitable for me and i may not attend,but for any progress lets first fix the dates-right now its going from one month to another
all right,i will give my preferred dates-any date before may14-15 or after june 10-11 will be fine for me.
i could not attend last year's meet though i wanted to but at least this year's,i want to.

Yes , its closed on a Monday .. I was about to suggest the same .. Maybe we could have a go at the other track too this time ..

GUys, seems like we shud finalise a date around the 3-4th week of June !!! Mclaren, look up the calendar and post two dates --- and then let people decide wether they in or not ???

Steeroid , u also said you wud be free seconda half of June .. right ???

Option 2 guys, Option 1 kills a whole working week, and I am not sure I can afford to do that. At least with Option 2, I can maybe join a bit late, or leave early to salvage a little bit of my work life...

Taking this into consideration we could however change option 1 to June 7-11 .. I would personally vote for Option 1 .. Option 2 would mean missing out on one of my lab exams ..

7-11 sounds good. Actually we only need three days - Fri, Sat & Sun with a majority heading back by Sunday noon. 8, 9 & 10 sounds like a better idea. Arrive 7th Evening or Early 8th morning, and start leaving 10th noon onwards.

Short and sweet is better than long-drawn-out-and-bitter. Those that want to stay longer can always continue hanging around or come in earlier!!!

And can we stick around South Goa this time?

Also please designate one co-ordinator for each state or city. I guess McL and c3p0 will take the honors for Bangalore, SpeedZak is the most likely candidate for Kerala unless someone else wants to do so, Mr.Lug-Nut-Breaker for Chennai?

Bomboys are awfully quiet, so I guess Ishaan can be the central point for Delhi, or is it King Fisher?

What about the other parts of India?

Suggested rendezvous on NH17 for the boys from the 3 southern states - Udupi/Kundapura/Turtle Bay resort or Karwar.

Or Samurai's bar in Money Pal.

Will confirm closer to the date, but in all probability I am in. Will drive to bangalore a day before and leave with the rest of the gang from there.
