Hyderabad Mid year Tbhp meet(drive) - JUNE

Hi every1 and 2.

Time for another great team-bhp meet, like those we had in january and february. (I think, thats only possible if I take the initiative.)

I propose Manjeera Dam in medak dist. NH9. (it is known as bombay highway, anyone interested from the other side of the NH9 , from mumbai, pune, bidar,......)

on the map go down south, you will see the nearest place as sanga reddy around 5 km from manjeera dam.

The date: June 30th. (thats a month time for all of us to plan and make it) Also the the rains would fill up the dam, giving us a good visual treat.

The total drive would be i guess 120 to 140 km.

The route proposed: Hitech city - Gachibowli - Lingampally - Patancheru - Sanga Reddy - Majira Dam.

I propose the first meeting point as the cyber towers, hitech city; this would be a common point for most of them. Guys staying near Kukatpally(Suren, ravi,....) can take the road from kphb colony to hitech city via the railway station.

@zak, been hearing about your visit to hyderabad, can you confirm on that.

There are quite a good number of dabhas on the NH9.

Dont want to be a spoil sport Raj but how is that stretch near Icrisat? Has that cleared up, for if it has not we'd be spending a whole day in our cars waiting to get in and out of the city.

Let me explain about the road, as far as I know, from there on, suren, you can let me know better.

I think everyone is aware of the roads till the hitech city.

From there, we will move to kondapur and then to gachibowli. Anyone interested in drag race can try it out on the gachibowli road. Believe me its one nice road road to try out top speeds.
(Last week did 105kmph on my new suzuki zeus.)

The road till Lingampally X-roads, is also good. After the lingapally X-roads instead of the NH9, if we take the road which goes inside the BHEL. We will surface near ICRISAT, by now we would have skipped 6km of that road.

I think we need to be on this road for another 5 km, after which the roads will open up.

OPTION 2:

Another option, as told by ravi@64bhp, is to take the road from shankerpally, we can skip that entire strech. In this case the meeting point should be Rethibowli.

Ravi, you have to enter the scene here and guide us about the route map.

Many romy many, you could do a location search in the members area and PM them. PM nosfreak for guidance if needed.

yea Suren ....voila it returned 1391 thats close to 10% of whole members .
sad thing is hardly we find our HYD NAWABS in here apart from few regular ones.

sort the search result according to the last visit in the descending order you can see who is a nawab and who is not.

if you want to have a ' big blast ', then you need to PM each of those and invite them for the meet, i repeat 'each of them'. thats what i did which resulted in big meets.

@everyone:
please suggest the agenda for the meet.
once our friend ravi@64bhp suggests us about the route map, i will check out for any near-by dhabas where we can think about re-filling our tummies.

any updates on the cottage you were talking about????.... i will find about the forest geust house around sanga reddy through my father. If it is available, then there is nothing better than that for a big blast.

Guys I am in. I am very upset, I could not make the last meet, I had to rush to Delhi for some urgent office work. By that time, my Carputer project would have been finished. Will have lots of fun in long drive.
