Here's a small report..
1. The meet was not at all as planned, we decided on Neyyar Dam but ended up in Ponmudi
2. Pyro woke up when we called him at 9.30am for the meet which should have been at 9am.
3. The roads were BAD but the drive was pretty fun.
4. Shabeet can really get drunk VERY fast... even if its Pepsi
5. Now the best one...Shabeet was interviewd by DD News at Ponmudi
I'll leave that to him to explain, make sure u guys watch it n laugh ur *** out ..

We have no idea what they said, and what questions they were asked cuz we all were busy laughing and thinkin what all things shabeet would have said....like promoting his resort, someting tbhp and giving free tips on driving

Anyways, thanks to our...
Oragniser(Xinome) without who all the confusion wouldn't have been there, and we wouln't have been 1.5hr late (plan WELL for the next meet)

The chiefguest (KPZen) who still came despite being to the worst start to a meet ever!

after all the hardwork and hours of talking on the phone and 57 sms's to be exact.

the trip was planned for Neyyar dam
we all arrived on location (cafe coffe day) with BHPians popping in from 9 am to 10:30 am

after everyone arrived
we all decided to head out in my very reliable alto and a trustworthy pearlescent swift.

crazydriver who wasnt so happy with the decission sped back home with his wagon r and joined us with his very very clean red pulsar.



well 9 guys all together.
and we set for the hills.
on the way nikhilv12 and pyrocrypt couldnt resist the thought of Boozing!
so we did a quick stop at the kerala civil supplies.

after the quick stop we where back on track when from out of the blue where couple of cops eyeballing us and where not allowing us to overtake




we reached the entrance of ponmudi quite endaring i must say.



so unknowing what was in store for us we headed uphill.
(will there be monkeys jumping into the cars, deers popping out from nowhere, or a tree fallen in the middle of the road)

finally after a while we reached the hairpins 1 of 22 resist we couldnt brake accel and sliding away we went. ( no images of that with me! holding on for my life )

then for a while we weren't greated with hairpins, but we still did rally up.



then one after the other hairpins, hairpins and more hairpins ( pyro and me holding on for dear life )

pyro had enough and wants out so do i but was actually enjoying myself sliding in the car


then after all 22 hairpins had been drifted and rear ends whacked upon we reached a plain of sharp 40 to 90 degree bends

this time Karthik couldnt resist and spilled out the rally driver in him
away he sped leaving us in dust
( wait until i get my car worked on )
we finally reached on the top most peak of the hill until roads led to rocks big rocks no gigantic rocks.



well we climbed one of those rocks and the view on the cliff was amazing


Well the booze party began, sadly i couldnt resist and went with a beer.

and nikhil wouldnt give up his 8pm or am wishly was it.


the other guys setteled for pepsi and fags

after all the drinks and a small trekking trip was done with
we headed down to a KTDC restaurant for lunch.

finally had lunch couple of fags and set bak downhill it rained so we had to go slow! dissapointing but i did take the oppurtunity to do a small slide with guys going all crazy in the rear seats, they scared the **** out of me.

KPzen has more to share with us all.

POINTS TO NOTE!

1. Nikhilv12 goes crazy when he sees hairpins.
2. Anthony hates hairpins.
3. pyrocrypt hates potholes and now suffers from tummy aches!
4. Karthik loves rallying
5. I hate sliding in the back seat when i am alone!
6. i get drunk too fast
7. Next time wear a belt
8. bring some rope along

Well, this meet started with no one comming, no one calling, lots of guys backing off n all. We nearly lost interest to go for a drive. But we had to get sometin happenin so decided to go ahead with whoever came. We were sittin in CCD for abt 45mins waitin for guys to come. And no one thought it'll end up to be a meet which everyone enjoyed this much. Once we on our way it all seemed fun and once the hairpins started it was redlining all the way in 1st n 2nd. Only let down were the roads...they were very bad about 40% of the way, but what the heck we had enough slowing down and started rally driving zooming over the potholes (not the huge ones ) There was almost no traffic at all on the way up....not a single car/bike came from the opp direction. Man, driving was real fun with the small roads, blind turns, really tight 1st gear hairpins and the awesome sceneary.

It turned out to be one hell of a meet.

I left home at 8:40 am, to CCD, where every one was supposed to meet up. 3 of my friends, Anthony, Shabeen and Ramesh, were already waiting there. we went and bought enough ( we thought ) fags for the trip.By the time, we came bak to ccd with the packs, karthik and kp reached there in the swift. we all then sat down in ccd, waiting for the others, after a couple of calls, we sound that only crazy driver, pyrocript and xinome will be able to join us. Then came xinome in his alto, at 9:30, followed by crazy driver at 9:50 and pyro, after 10.

We then left ccd and our next stop was nedumangad, the road was awesome upto nedumangad but it was full of traffic!! At around 11:00, we reached nedumangad we were supposed to buy booze from here so searched for the civil supplies bar and bought a bottle of 8pm, two kingfisher beers and a bottle of pepsi. left nedumangad by around 11:30.

The road after nedumangad was not that good, it was pretty rough and was worse at some places, with very tempting patches of newly tarred road! but it all ended and we finally had a very smooth and curvy road to rip the s*** out of the vehicle for around 10-15 kms.

then started the uphill climb and the roads narrow and rough, with broken patches here and there, but it is on there roads we had the most fun. Karthik in his swift was going in the front, followed by crazy driver on his bike and finally the alto, which i chose to drive. we then decided to have a round of fags, and so, i was driving at a decent pace, to find that karthik and crazy had already vanishe din thin air!! shab got all frustrated( as always ) and asked me push the pedal! but i was all too busy, smoking (cigarettes). then fimally, i decided to burn some tyre on the hairpins and some straight stips, with cliffs on one side, it was simply AWESOME!! finally cought up with crazy at first, over took him and after around 2kms, reached the check post at the top where karthik was waiting. finally!! we had reached at 12:30 pm on the top.

There a guy, fully drunk, came towards xinome and asked him he would like to be on th einterview? me and kp fled the scene, coz we didnt want to be on tv!!!! and by the way, it was DD news!!! after the interview, we went on top of a rock, found a secluded place and started the booze party!! from there on do not remember ( faintly ) what was happening around me!!!!!!
