And one more this that is not covered in that. Thenmala has a zone called the adventure zone. With river crossing (Rope, not bridge), rock climbing etc on the cards. Dont know about the condition of the roads, but since rains have started, the place will be as beautiful as it gets.

Tenmala is a great venue for the next month's meet. It can also be a bit adventurous if wanted. If it is going to be a drive, then nothing to beat the drive till PALARUVI, which is again in Tenmala area. And this waterfall is not just to see. If it is under safe conditions (which normally is) then taking a cold swim and shower under this beauty is heavenly and unforgettable.

My suggestion is to not mix up this drive and Kovalam together.

By the way, what is happening about the 16th meet? Are we gonna do it?
Anyways, I am coming to Trivandrum on 16th.

well i was thinking of going to themala for this 16th actually well if you guys want to do it on the 14th its all good. well now i think its much better if we go to thenmala for the 14th meet but wait up... nickelv12 has got a rockin idea let me call him up and ask.

another farm house and another safari i recall.. let me check!

by the way have any of you heard of [ okanikal ] somewhere in TN.

Now, I think the confusion is just going great. And most people are staying away due to the same.
So, let's make it 2 different things.

Send PMs/emails/sms to all those who you know would be able to make it to the Ulta mayhem meet.
If you get atleast 2 positive replies, then it's time to go forward and plan things. But, make yourself (and maybe some friends) ready first by deciding that you are going to do this even if nobody comes. That'll make you organise and plan out things better.
So, I would suggest you decide either the venue or date first. If 14th july is the date confirmed for this, then be it. And don't change it due to some very silly reasons. Yes! if it is something serious, then of course you may.

Then it's time to decide a venue/destination. Consider everybody's budget and act according to it. I would suggest an overnight thingy if it's possible and You've got some proper accommodation.

As said earlier, Tenmala is a great location for a day trip or an overnighter. Why would a full blown waterfall be boring? Or taking a dip below it? And spending hours enjoying the beauty of each drops while talking cars! Atleast the drive won't be boring. But be careful of the rainy season. The area is quiet known for it's bad behaviour when it gets too much of water (thanni).
