I will try and find out from some of the guys who go often to Madras if there is anything on GQ. OMR has more options (and less toll booths, which break into a good drive) that way. I think its called Nandini which is a veg joint with a Huge parking lot.

Yeligiri is on Salem route I thought? Sorry have a bad sense of direction.

Why not even Salem/Yercaud? Coimbatore guys, or maybe even some mallus might land up? KB/Zak you listening?

And Salem is just 3 hours from Bangalore? 3 hours from Coimbatore, and longest from Madras at 4?

Yelagiri sounds nice, since it is almost equidistant (170kms for the Bangy boys and 210 for the Anna's). Suggested plan. Leave bangalore sharp by 6am. Reach Krishnagiri by 8am. Have breakfast at our normal adda, a small hut where you get lovely dosa's and idli's. Reach Yelagiri by 9am. Hopefully Chennai anna's will reach by 10. Have lunch at the Country Club or Sterling Resort or Taj Garden Resort. Start heading back home at about 4 or so. Reach Bangy by 7 or 8pm.

As tadu has pointed out Salem might also sound nice. Specially if the coimby and cochin boys can join in as well. Let me see what can be done.
