Tristate meet at Coimbatore this Aug 25th. Who is coming to watch the race cars? - Team-BHP

Guys, some of us from Bombay, Bangalore, Chennai, Coimbatore and some parts of Kerala are all heading to the Kari Motor Speedway this Aug 25th & 26th to watch the inaugural race of the National Touring Car Championships. Cars participating will be some of the quickest and wildest custom builds by various tuner's from across the country, rally and race prepped Vtec's, Baleno's, Fiesta's, Cedia's, Esteem's to name a few.

Also in the hunt in the foreign open are the likes of Mitsubishi Evo's & Subaru Imprezza's from the Sri Lankan's I am told. For more info on this kindly read THIS thread.

So, who all are going to join us to witness this amazing development in the history of Indian Motorsports? Do vote in your presence. Hope to see you all on track.

If you have a tristate meet this Aug 25th, i dont know how many will make it to cbe again for the track day a week later.

Anyways 25th might be difficult for me as I am shifting homes from the 20th onwards.

Harrie, the track availability is not yet confirmed for the first two weeks of September. Infact with some races going on and the teams renting out the circuit for a few weekends we might get either the 3rd or 4th weeks. I am yet to get a confirmation regarding the dates. We will just have a choice of choosing from a Saturday or Sunday.

Besides, I guess for this 25th meet we can all car pool and get to CBE. Thus reducing our expenditures (if thats an issue). I for one wouldn't want to miss watching the race or get on track myself. Those who want both will figure out a way.

I have a family function in cbe on sunday and might show up for 2,3 hours on saturday. In other thread it was mentioned that event is for "August 23-26". I will be in town from thursday. Any one showing up on these days?

I will be there mostly for taking pics only...

are cameras allowed?!?!
