Thanks, Anoop. If not for you and xinome, I would have driven 200kms in vain. It was nice meeting 2 Kerala tbhp-ians, even if it was just a short meet at a bakery over tea/coffee and puffs.

Ofcourse the highlight of the visit was seeing your beautifully done-up Palio with great ICE (though being ICE-challenged, I have no idea what all that stuff does - just know that the end result would be awesome to hear).

So, when he said "bar", I assumed he is talking about the Nettur kallu shaappu. So, drove down to Chertala and asked for directions to Nettur. Well, I could leave home (Kollam) only around 1PM, so making it to your wedding was ruled out. So, I thought atleast can meet the gang.

Due to the 'Aanamayakki' scare, I do not drink kallu - don't even remember the last time I had it. But since you guys vouched so much for the Nettur shaappu, I thought maybe I would have a glass or two.

Hey SB, I almost got a similar story..I reached my home at 9 AM and drives down to Nettoor which is almost 60KM away at around 2 PM - It was very much clear that I wont be making it for JKD's marriage so decided for the meet at Nettoor.On reaching edappilly, tried the numbers of Zak, Nikki..got Hydra on line.He informs me all are still at Cherthala and there was a change of plan..However I decided to go ahead to shaap (lucky me, had a friend with me) and make it as a single-man-TBHP meet

..

Having said that, the food and Kallu were awesome.No Aanamayakkis..only FRESH

sorry about that ,there was some miscommunication, and we thought everyone who was coming had already arrived at cherthala. we wer'nt even aware that people were waiting at nettoor. next time, we should all exchange numbers so that the comlinks are maintained
