@Wim just mentioned that the Vintage Car rally is on the 20th (Sunday) starting at 7AM.

We could plan to meet somewhere along it's route at a more civilised hour

we need passes for going inside Fort William. SP_Kolkata (Saurjya Pratim Mitra) has few passes for the Vintage Car Rally. he is taking part with his "exotics".

i am in for 20th Meet(??) 50:50.

I am in for the 20th(Sun) or the 26th(Sat).. 13th won't be possible for me as i am going to bangalore on the 12th and would be coming back on the 13th.. got to train some stupid people out there..! Shere- e - punjab (kolaghat) sounds really nice..! Airport one is not good anymore as the quality has gone down drastically.. (tried 2 weeks back) : - (

Azad Hind on bombay road is also a nice option.. the we have oasis on delhi rd.. good food..! Some excitement is needed u see..!! : - )

Guys please confirm when everyone can come down so that we can go ahead with this.. please finalize the place and the date first..!

if you guys are planning to go to Kolaghat Dhaba / Oasis - you guys gotto met either in front of the IOC Bunk near AJC Bose Road Flover or in front of Haldiram's @ VIP Road (depending on the route you guys are planning to take.

if you are going there for Lunch - then ideally you guys should meet around 10.30AM (the late-Latiffs will gather by 11.15am)

@sharad - dont need to hurry up - there is enough time. plus i doubt whether everyone knows about the January Meet. you gotto let everyone know about the meet individually (use PM, SMS, email)

Head Count for 20th Meet (VCCCI Rally - Fort Williams, Kolkata) Part 1

Participant - SP_Kolkata with their 2 Austins (heard that they sold off their mercedes :( )

the rally will be flagged off from Fort Williams at 7AM. the route is likely to be Fort Williams -> AJC Bose Road Fly over -> Hyatt Regency / City Centre. But i am not sure about it. the sr will be decided on the day itself.

Meet and Drive to Uluberia - Part 2:

i think there will be another meet in the evening. sharad will be able to give more details.

but AFAIK the POA will be:

• Meet @ Scoop, Babughat - 6PM
• Small Intro with newbies
• Drive to Uluberia Azad Hind Dhaba for dinner

i am in for the first part of the meet @ Fort Williams (FW).

Please See:

All cars should have the FW Car Park Stickers to avail the parking facility. Passes required for each head. SP_Kolkata (Saurjya) will try to collect as many Car Park Stickers as possible and will try to arrange for 20 Passes - more details by tomorrow. i will collect the passes/stickers from him. you guys can collect these from me.

Thank you so much Planet for eliminating the confusion..! Well i would love to come for the Vintage Rally.. but got office on Sat.. so would be getting out of office on sunday at around 12:30 pm.. so there is no way that i can come for the rally.

However, i would be there in front of Scoops at 6 pm..! All the guys who can make it at 6 pm please make a headcount and let me know.. so that we all can exactly know who all are coming and who all won't..!

i dont think anyone stays near Thakurpukur - so if you can come down town park circus / gariahat - you can tag along with anyone of us.
