i guess a meet should happen on our rides and i aint in much favour of going in a volvo as many others also might voice the same opinion. let us see, but again hitching on our own rides is the best way to have a true team-bhp meet.

Why dont you plan to have a meet on the Mar 15-16 week-end?

There is NCR mega-meet planned on the same weekend, and probably a Chennai meet as well.

We could have a Mege-meet weekend

I'm all for the idea of a mega-meet. Even better if we can combine it with the F1 race, though I'm not sure what time that airs.

Already Summer is started, so keeping that in mind we need to choose nearby places rather than going too far.

How about

1. Big Banyan tree via Magadi road (Road is in excellant condition except 2 km.) and nearby small reservoir and may be for interested people race in BMIC road.

2. Pandit Ravi Shankar Ashrama.

3. Chikka tirupati or Kolar district nearby places.

4. Drive down to Kemmangundi or Badra back waters near Badravati Saturday - Sunday.

5. NagarHole or BandiPura National Park Saturday - Sunday.

6. Any resort near Bangalore, we can book entire day package, 10am to 5pm.

7. Nandhi Hills

I prefer hill station trips in Summer because other options make us too tired.

Pandit Ravi Shankar Ashrama is off Kanakpura road 2 km from BMIC road. Lunch facility is availabe there too on week end I guess. Its huge place not much attractions but quiet cool place.

Another good place is Sangama/MekeDaatu, 100km from bangalore via kanakapura, visit my travelogue to see details. Its one nice place If we go in gang.

How about meeting in
1. Planet X ( mysore )
2. Devrayana Durga ( near Tumkur )
3. Ramee Gusteline Resort ( Hosur Road - lot of parking place to display vehicles )
4. Coffee Day ( Maddur / Tumkur Road)
5. Woody's ( Kolar )
6. Shravana Belagola ( Hassan Road ) etc. etc.

These trips can be made in a day.
