Can't help it mate, there are some who have confirmed back to me but not voted on the poll. Then there is a certain 7 star member who cannot post on the forum

OK guys, Ashthedivx checked out Ffad & Flames yesterday, he feels that Flames would be a safer bet. However, it will work out a little more expensive (though they are providing one extra main course), he will negotiate further with them in the afternoon & then post the final rate.

In case anyone has any concerns, please post now. I know there's been a question about non-drinkers, I would just like to say that in our last meet, we dished out 450 for the food, I think we should go with around 500 since its a restaurant; Manveet, please let me know if this works for you.

700 bucks /head is quite steep imo....for FLAMES... U Cud have a ala carte dinner at TAJ ( wihtotu alcohol ) for that much.. for non drinkers is way to exp.

Yeah, right! By the way, are you coming, are you a drinker, have you voted on the poll?

Lets have some concrete feedback from all of you guys who are actually planning to come. Would be great if we have less of these "Taj is cheaper" comments which add no value IMHO. I'm sure we can order two prawn starters for that price somewhere else but does that help the overall cause? I would think not.

Last I checked, any decent 5-star buffet in town was at least 850+taxes if not more. Just my 2 cents.

P.S. This is without alcohol of course.

5 Star buffet for 850 + Taxes which hotel maharaj ??? I went to Mariot it was above 1k + taxes.

5 star buffets are more in the range of Rs. 1250/- to 2500/- these days.

Anyway regarding the 15th, if nothing else is working, i could enquire about:

gourmet gallery-south extension.

we have a corporate rate there for 600/- per head a.i. of liquor and dinner and im sure i can try to get them to give us the same rate.

I don't think it will be a problem if your company has a corporate link over there, this is the way we manage to get around 400/- per head for fooding only in Mystique Heights. Used the link many times to even organize some of my family parties.

600/- per head is definetly a nice price, better you can also ask to him to reduce further by not giving any bill. This way he may cut his tax costs i.e. overall cost.

Good place, have been there a couple of occasions. 600 is dirt cheap I'd say, how soon can you confirm Girish?
