Gran Turismo 4 Meet : 15th March 08 - Mumbai - Team-BHP

Every Saturday a couple of us BHPIAN's Hook up at someones place and get started at playing GRAN TURISMO4, on the playstation2.
Ive just come to know that there are a lot more of us out there who play gt4. So would like to know if any of you guys are interested in joining us, beating our lap timings etc.
Would be real fun. We will be setting up next saturday as usual. Same place same time same game..So let me know if your in.

NOTE: FOR SERIOUS GRAN TURISMO4 PRO'S who are familiar with the game.
No NFS, PHEN AFFF ASEEE please.

Hi all,
Its nice to see groups trying to get together and game. I have been playing Forza motorsports 2 for a couple of months now on the 360 and primarily play Online(LIVE). Anyone in this same group have the Xbox as well? and go live over the internet?

Very few T-Bhpians going live, have a look at this thread.

Ahhh that would be nice. But i guess for now we can only compare timings. How about that.

Damn, can't make it on the 15th. But it's a good start, hope it catches up big time.

Don't forget to post the record lap times so that i can come prepared next time. LOL

BTW, i hope you guys are playing :
Mode - Arcade
Driving Aids - None
Tyres - softest compound available for the car choosen to race (in arcade mode)
Weight and Power - Stock
Transmission - Whatever the driver prefers.

Just 2 things that need to be clarified :
Car - .......??
Track - Nurburgring???

Timings yes......but no mods dude. Lets not treat GT4 like NFS.

Let our driving skills do the talking for once (everything else being indentical).

Another thing : Make sure you guys aren't using the ghost replay of the record lap you're trying to beat. Let your best lap be based on how you judge your braking, cornering and exiting without any reference.

Nice! I cannot make the meet, but am a big GT4 fan. Started playing recently and have been hooked ever since. Maybe someone can start a thread in the Gadgets... section, with rides owned, mods made, competitions won etc. Would be nice to know how others are faring

Yup, i've completed all the driving missions. I found the Skyline race around the test course to be the toughest.

I've always been a huge NFS fan. But GT4 takes it to another level IMHO. Just my opinion... don't mean to start a NFS vs GT fight
