The Chennai T-BHP meet thread

Add my name to dat list. I was driving ECR side to Pondy this weekend and i saw more than one Porsche, a BMW 5-series size coupe and a lot more imports!. Where are these guys?. We should get a hold of them and invite them to join, so we can have a variety of cars at a meet and discuss them too!. Anyways, regardless, i'm in for the next g2g.

Also, 2PM on a Mid summer afternoon is not exactly a Woody's (Drive-in) meet.

@ Nitrous: Pls decide an affordable "liquid diet" location, where we could watch F1 too. How about residency @ T Nagar.. Car park may be an issue..but we could park up @ woodlands drive in and get there.. What Say?

It rained yesterday - it poured like hell!
In almost 10 years or so I have not seen so much thunder, and that too in this time of the year in Chennai. So is it going to be hot or not? - no ones able to predict. But taking into consideration the usual Chennai heat, woodlands is going to be a sweaty place but still it is OKAY! Lotta trees, and shades to hide in! Lotta parking space et all.

Certainly St.Thomas mount @ 1400 hours is a bad idea guys!

1) Meet up at BENZ PARK for the F1 Race.

2) After the race we can go for a drive. The view from St.Thomas Mt looks better after sunset.

3) Hire projector (Rs1500)and meet up at private bar on RK Salai. Then go for a drive.

We will take your first 2 suggestions arka.

1. 2.00 PM. We will meet at Woodlands, chitter chatter
2. 4.00 PM Get to Benz Park for the F1
3. 7.00 PM Drive to St. Thomas Mount.

Sounds like a plan to me.
