Is that place "approved" by fellow Chennai T-BHPians for ICE? It is very close to where I live. I haven't been passing at a good moment to take a look, yet, though.

Ok, this discussion is further drifting away, since a question is being asked, I am replying here ! lol

For ICE, I would stay away , the only reason being they dont have a variety or they dont SEEM to be experts . I only wish the staff there were a bit more educated about the products they are trying to sell.
The place is spotless, very clean and they have a huge fitting area.

This is purely from my visual experience,

ICE = NO
Car care products = YES
Alloys = YES
Accessories = YES
K&N = YES (both replacement and conical, they also have the cleaning kit for sale !!)
Used Cars = NO NO NO !

Also, if you are paying by card ( even a debit card ) they charge 1%. I put my foot down and declined to buy. Then they waived off the 1% , although it was only 6rs, I wouldnt part with it ( for all the profit they make !).

Very neat and clean. Deal only with B/W Stuff. Install as such is ok. Sales person not that acquainted with hardcore ICE stuff. Deal with Brands like Alpine, Kenny, Pio, Hertz, MTX, Polk, JVC, Sony and Fusion.
Prices on the higher side (as expected), Price negotiation is not of much benefit.

Overall, I would rate 6 on 10. If you hate to be in crowded GP Road where everynow and then a Patrol vehicle keeps annoucing your car number, if you dont mind spending some extra penny on B/W Stuffs and if you are not in for a really high-end install, i would recommend Haute ...

..else, there are better places
