I know buddy, but Chennai is not my hometown, I am there for a business transaction and then have a flight back to US on 15th morning from delhi. I have a 14th afternoon flight to DEL.

Yes, I will be in Chennai too around that time. From what I have observed, the chennai meets have been divided into groups of early morning meets to early evening meets, night time meets and meets at veg restaurants and meets at non veg restaurants etc etc. Only meet where everyone joins is by the track side, think we should organize something like that. madan80 or sideways are the right persons to contact to find if the track is available on any of those days. Then we can have a P & P session as well as a good meet. Headers, are you listening ?

I am listening John. For a P&P Session, we need the numbers. The last few times were not too encouraging.

Hi all,
Please consider visiting alamparai fort for out weekend meet. Ive been there and the place is excellent. Though it is just the walls of the fort which are still standing the view of the sea from there is unparalled.

We can start from madya kailash on sunday morning at around 6am. It is a 2 hour drive maximum. We can have our breakfast on the way at kalpakkam(Couple of restaurants offer good hot breakfast). The fort is fun for those who love the sun and the sand(By the time we reach there- around 8pm the sun is going to bright and hot ). A couple of hours for photos and chit chat and also back water boating(It was there when i went last year). We can head back to the city and have lunch either in some restaurant in ecr or somewhere in the city!

Any takers for this plan?

Is this fine? The place is suggested so as to be accessible by as many people as possible.

@Anandv267: Thanks for the info. I suppose we can plan the drive meet to the fort in the coming meet. Drive meets need to be announced and planned by a week in advance for fruition.
