An unplanned meet today at "The Voodoo" on ECR Road.

Time - 7:30 PM, PM the regulars for the route.

This was my first chennai t-bhp meet and it was a pleasure meeting up with our members who turned up.

Nitorus, bblost, bakya, mr.bean, gilead, pras_oct25, anachronix, another guy (I am sorry, i am not able to recollect your handle) & myself

The meet discussion was mostly around enfield, cars, films and all.

The time just flew and i guess we need to have more longer meets in the furture.

Overall, i liked it and would like to meet them again.

for organizing the meet and the short eats was very good.

The 'other guy' was Sathee46.

Like ikoneer, this was my first meet as well and I had a great time.

Bean: Let us know about the mid week thing that you were planning. The location that you were planning is just a couple of minutes drive from my place.

What are they trying to convey when they say that in addition to being a restaurant, it is also a "Cultural association" or something similar.

IIRC, there used to be a veg. restaurant "Tanjore" in the same premises.

I reckon we could accomodate 25-30 BHPians. Thats the USP.
That said, Food was decent. Infact, Beans Kumar mistook the mutton kheema kabab for fish!

hehe, I could not really figure out what went into that kabab, hence that wild assumption. I am not a great fan of mutton and fish too.

Between food was good especially the chilly beef and overall cost wise not highly expensive, but the service could have been much better.

To be fair to Bean, the mutton pieces were actually shaped like fish.

The chilly beef was fantastic.

Mr Bean is a fun guy.

I just wish he finds his Working Wife soon.

The food was quite good, the cool weather made the ambiance great.

Service was ok. They kept themselves out of the way and we did not really wait a lot.

Because time flew fast.
