Hey everybody. The Trivandrum party of Xinome, Sankar, redfire and me reached Trivandrum at around 5.30 pm safe and sound, thanks to redfire and his flying Swift.
I'll leave it to the experts to start the report thread, and do not wish to jump the gun.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I feel like a dirty Green Cotton Wind and I am checking myself in for professional cleaning.
Over and out.

Broke off from the convoy at thodupuzha. Meeting home minister. Wish me luck. Whatever I'm in for, it was truly truly worth it :-)

Group photo session before we broke off in different directions, picture courtesy ezee123.

Please note this is a PRE-processing shot from ezee, one of a few dozen shots of the same scene in different exposures from his flash card. ezee will post the processed shots one of these days:

Some of my pics (still going through most of them), in no particular order.

Feel free to ask questions about the context, location, subjects etcetera, etcetera and I will answer them - it is very difficult to upload pictures and punch in the text like we used to do before. One or more of the guys will type out a textual report in due course - some of the pictures may then fit into bits of the same.

Right now, I'm very tired. My vehicle and I spent most of last night as the official recovery team. Things turned out to be rather exciting, what with midnight sightseeing tours in a pimped out kpbolero, some hardcore Scorpio-bashing (for real - videos will follow) by the recovery team, a Verna driver who was Peten and well and truly out, midnight visits by unexpected visitors followed by unexpected offroading in assorted cars, etc etc.

My "Crew" who suffered as the vehicle was THROWN around corners, driven through slush, rocks and potholes with no change in pace and had to do some audio tuning duty in between all this by opening and shutting doors:
From L to R, Bhaiyyaji Tyrewalla, My-Name-Is-A S H V I N, Mahir and the onboard audio tuner JayD at the end of a very jerky ride to the top of some unexpected offroading
