Thanks Madan

Nagpur seems a very good and balanced choice looking at the distances.

Please share some more info about Nagpur or any nearby place worth visiting ?

I think West would bag this but surely South and North should not be far behind.

Safari owners VOTE only!

Vote-ON!
Juda, I think you need to add one more option in your poll saying "Anywhere in India"

Got an Idea, do you guys think sticking to the Golden Quadrilateral makes sense. I mean major journey should be over the Quadrilateral and may be 10-15% can take state higways, what say?

Hello All;

Me & Gowda79 are ready anywhere around 1500kms.

Happy to see so many responses. If people are driving from across India i am getting some weird Idea.

The idea is " Why dont we drive some Message to the world / India behind it?" Eg. Pollution Control, Education, Distributing Books / Old Clothes to the village people on the way, Driving Discipline, Dont Drink & Drive, Save Fuel , etc etc.

If we are driving some message we might get some sponsors also..

Guys just think on this, instead of just driving, lets drive with some motto, which can be helpful for others.

I am ready driving without any message also

Regards
Deepak

That's a good idea Jude.

Let's hope for the best and some guys should take initiative to make it a good show rather than a FLOP show...

If a consensus is not reached this can be looked at, because then the famililes will have no interest.

You are from: SOUTH - Bangalore

Range: within a single day, before sunset

PLACE: Open to options

DATE: Any Extended Weekend suits me + only weekend with additional holidays is also possible, provided dates are decided 2-3 weeks ahead.

Comments: None

South Travel Map is attached to bring out more options.

Don't waste time thinking, DICOR boy. Do it.

And you know you can count on atleast some of us Chennai tbhp-ians to give you company in your DICOR, sharing not only the fun, but also the expenses. And yes, we will finally get to Drink In Comfort On Road, with the bonus of a sober driver at the wheel.

@headers, e_l, manek et al, where are you guys ?

Goa sounds like fun. But will we be able to make it to Goa and back in 3 days ie. ex-Chennai ?
Even if we have a Saturday night out in the DICOR with nitrous at the wheel and the gang in its intoxication, It would be worth it.

Whats more happy than to curse that "goddamn xxxxxx cop" who stops you and asks you to blow. Nitrous will be our saviour

That surely would be a real pleasure.

Let's see if nitrous joins this DICOR meet and if so we can tag along.
