Arrey chiko beta, i said " atleast".

I think the rate at which our meets are happening, we need a special pad for our regular meets OR we all should start living together

P.S: Btw, I dont even know how far is Hampi from Hyderabad and i said OK for this mid-way meet.....LOL

Hampi is 340 KM from Hyd and after MehboobNagar, its awesome 2 lane toll road quality road (Good for testing your Pete's Box)

Buddy, the toll road quality road is after Raichur. Mahboobnagar to Raichur is again SH quality with a few potholes here and there..this was a few months back..hope things are better now.

I am excited to drive on the Hyderabad- Jadcherla stretch..its Heaven!!

A little bit of google search on Hampi:

I found this thread -
http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/route-...bad-hampi.html

Also, everyone seems to suggest that Hampi is avoidable during summer and is best to visit after August.

I also came across a review on Hampi here

If we are doing this place in April, I am going to car-pool in a car which has the most powerful A/C.

My trip in May to Coimbatore via B'lore is almost confirmed now! So, it's going to be double dose of summer heat for me!

I will have a wedding to attend at Virupapur Gaddi near Hampi. It is a small village with no or little connectivity from outside world. I will require two days off at least to go there and come back. I hope you guys can get the drift.

Raj.

All people who volunteered to bring matresses to the Ghazal nite (wonder what you were planning to do though!) please load them in for the Hyd-Bng midway meet!

My thoughts exactly ....nice place to spread those matresses. It would have given company to my steed's dickie is supposed to be a double bed! (The ad showed some nice accessories in it......spent a week looking for that particular accessory when I bought the car).

No wonder we rock! Hyd was known for it's laid back Nizami culture - for work. Any party where engines and wheels are involved - shikars, camping, off-roading, drives etc. - Hyd rules.

Added me here. Nice to see Theo back in action. Where art thou: Suren, Downsouth, Anurag, Getsurya, Romyeo? Izzat ka sawaal hain mian, baingan ka kaam - parsoon karlenge. (I hope HillRam is listening).

Hmmm, Bangalore ..... you guys are supposed to be THE happening place, time to pull up the socks guys. Even with a 50% attrition rate that Hyd is famous for - it still looks like 2:1. Oh, I forgot the lurkers who just land up the morning of the drive so our net attrition rate is lower say +/- 10% ya ...sometimes we have more people than confirmations.

Cheers,

Our beloved lawyer is back!!! Ravendra (excuse the extra alphabets! No patience!) We can discuss about the HYD-BLR meet tomorrow and force some more souls from B'lore to turn up!

As of now, it looks like a FULL HYD gang with a puny little gang from B'lore! ftw, let's still make it!

Good to see you Ravvs ( i will call you this hereafter, if you dont mind) joining us and like pulsar said. Your tentative is more confirmed than other folks proper ones.

@Mjyothi, i am sure you must be thinking why did i stir up the bee's nest by reviving this old thread

Come on dude, if we dont see some decent numbers we may have to turn towards Mumbai/Pune folks for this mid-way meet.
Ashish Pallod, you listening?
