Lets decide on the most favorable choice of our members

Date : 9th or 10th August 2008

Location:
1. Hill area
2. Water resource area
3. I am ok with a cup of coffee
4. Anything is fine with me

Any place away from the crowd is good for me! be it hills or dam or no where in the middle of a forest.

IMO, you need to add one more option in your poll. Anything is ok....this may help you as an organiser to take call.

I am OK with any weekend. I am looking forward for my very first Bangalore meet. I prefer hills as I just came back from hills our own Kodagu (Madikeri).

Please let me know, meet is along with family or for only drivers .

If we are planning for hills/dams, the I would recommend a family meet. but if this is a coffee joint meet, then it can be individuals.

- Dams/ Lakes/ waterfalls aka " any Waterbodies"
-Coffee points cheers:
- Hills (not again )
- Anything

Me ok with any place as long as we get to meet up. How about go-karting or bowling or meeting up at a nice resort. Just a thought.

Guys would you people be interested in a rural setting amidst grape vineyards, with good empty roads to check out our rides?

If yes, then I can suggest a place very close by, but far enough from the city din.

This is good idea to have a meet and site seeing:

0. My best idea and suggestion lets have family trip visiting KemmanGundi area. place is amazing in rainy season although its risky with slippary / bad road and leeches but if we drive slowly its hill top! Start Saturday morning and come back by Sunday evening. 550km round trip drive. Would cost 2000/- per person only for stay and food. Visiting just MullayanaGiri itself is amazing. On the way near Hassan - Chikamagalur we see reservoir roadside although entry is restricted. ( need 2 days )

1. Shivagange Betta on the way to Tumkur. (This involves trekking of 3 km climbing entire hill is not any easy task but half of it is possible), nearby food point Kamat upachar in highway. While coming back we can buy Jackfruit! 150km round trip. It would be adventuroes trip with excellant fun only issue would be if some one cant climb the hills and its risky sometimes with slippery surface.

2. Shravana Belagola to take Baahu Bali darshan. 300km round trip. quiet good in every respect.

3. Kokkre Bellur just before Maddur, nice place can see lot of same colorfull birds in teh village. 2 km plain trekk. 160km round trip, we need to find out availability of birds. good food place nearby like kamat etc.. quiet good and easy one in every respect.

4. Chikka tirupati: It would be more city driving trip like Nandhi Hills drive. 100km round trip.

5. Innovative Film city / Wonderla: since many of us have visited not sure if people are interested to visit again and again. 60km round trip.

6. Leepakshi: Its good but Hyderbad road not in great condition and not much fun.

7. Hogenkal Falls/ShivanaSamudram: are in glory but I feel most of us have visited multiple times.

8. Mysore: Ranganatittu/KRS: nice to watch but already covered places multiple times.

9. Nagarhole: Saturday and Sunday would be amazing to see the greenary, would cost 2000/- per person for stay and food. ( need 2 days )

To be very frank its difficult to figure out best place considerring good road condition and time factor.

How about a coffee meet every last friday of the month ? at a relatively free but large coffee day outlet that can take about 10 people ?

At least we can start with this and plan a trip over coffee, as they say... "Anything can happen over coffee".

I also like to keep it within one day if possible. Seems too many options pouring in. Anyway, we have 4 more days to decide
