One more update on roads.

For people coming from Salem towards Krishnagiri.

Its better to take the Dharmapuri route inside the town rather than the By-Pass. Because, the BY-Pass is not completed and it will lead to unneccesary confusions.

Keep straight on the Dharmapuri town route (towards right in Y junction) and you will get into NH7 after Dharmapuri.

Guess I got all names right. (except 2 from chennai )

I think Condor has the group photo, excluding Mansidea, since he left little early for cochin.

I start my day with condor's message in this thread asking about my plan. post that I will be coming with hrag after noon.

Then talk with hrag for the time. He says he will call me and let me know once he is done with his work. Calls @ 3pm and says will be near my home in 30min. I pack the stuff and get ready. He reaches here around 3:45pm. We both start and go to ATM. Hrag says we need to pick some vodka from here. So trying to locate one, and then finally decide to pick near salem.

The moment we cross Krishnagiri, I tell hrag not to speed because it was getting dark

He keeps around 80kmph and we enter Dharmapuri. We get a call from Rajan asking about where are we. We tell the place and theres a huge laughing going on the other side. Then they tell us to get the "stuff" and reach sooner. We enter Salem and start the hunt for a TASMAC. My god, nothing on site.

The moment we see the road side shops with fish, bajji's etc we slow hoping to see the TASMAC. But Newton's law plays here and we dont see anything. Asked young guys and they tell they have no idea. Surprising. Then I go to a provision store and I see a old man there. Should I ask him? Ok, let me give a try. He sees me up & down, points the hand towards his left and says "Go about a forlong and you have it". Forlong? Oh my god, what is he talking about. Anyway I had no time or patience to calculate it, and we just start towards that direction. Finally we get one after the Collector's Bungalow.

We call Khan,

Me: What you want to buy?
Khan: Get a RC?
Me: RC? (Since initially it was Vodka, I got this question)
Khan: Yes, Royal Challange Whisky (Guess he thought I dont know what RC is. Lol...)

The again Hrag talks and Khan adds a Vodka + Chips.

We get the RC, but no vodka. So, we ask for the next tasmac and find one after a little long. Get the Vodka and when we reached the first Haidpin bend, we call Khan again.

Me: Khan, do we need to cross all the hairpin bend and reach all the way up?
Khan: yes.
Me: ok, after reaching how do we get to the hotel?
Khan: Ok, you cross all the hairpin bends, reach the top, and then, you need to talk to Rajan.

He shifts the phone to Rajan. Rajan directs us to the Hotel. We take all the bends, (I have no clue how hrag took, for me it was a BLACK chart with some yellow spots in front. Lol).

Finally reach the spot around 9pm. We see the mansidea Scorpio blasting with songs and guys having fun.

We got down from the car and first thing was to open the RC. Then you know what all happened. He he he...

Actually we met Madan on the way back in Dharmapuri.

What we did?

Some slept,
Some danced,
Some got stuck,
some spotted Bison,
Some were lucky to spot only the "Steps" of Bison,
Some who took to the ATV got disappointed due to rain
