Guys, the white balance seems to be all over. Pink sky, purple sky? Although I liked the sky shots in post #78. What was the oldman doing, he appears to be goofing around, doing anything but photography.

It is created by god to match my car colour and shine. Hence there is magenta in all my photos.

And mind you, I had only a 3.2Mp camera and that's why the shots are like that.

LOL and you expect us to believe that ? So lets say when you were shooting your Ikon the sky turned purple/majenta and when the rest did it was grey and orange eh .

Listen reduce the contrast a wee bit in your PP and IMO the image should look better.

With a little PP and cropping, this is the shot I liked best, see in full size.

Thanks Samurai.

So, now you know who "guided" this position. Yes, its our own director

Tks Mr.Rudra ji.

He was mentioning about the body curves and backgrounds (Did I got it 100%, thats a question better unanswered) and asked me to park it towards the sun and take it.

Good it came out well.

Also, he was talking about the Aperture adjustments. But I dont even know if that exists in my CAM. Searched for a while and gave up.

Its a Canon IXY 70. Any clues? As usual googling now.

lol i think i made a good choice picking up white car, it was covered in muck (no washing since 1 week) and still looks clean, or were they "souped up" shots. I have some 56 from iPhone will select few and post once am back at home.

It was a very preacful event and location, would love to do it again, with more time in hand. Rudra and I had to do a disappearing act coz of me goofing up time management. Will make it up, nice meeting you all.

ps: i have no clue at photography apart from few tips from Mr Sen, so please excuse when i post up

Jaggu you did that with just the iPhone??!! Fantastic. I never get quality images on my iPhone, certainly nowhere close to what you have managed to get. Well done!

P.S: The car look very nice...fresh as the day you got her!

Thank you Kartik, yours is the first appreciation for my photography, make it first ever in my photography career lol cheers: I think its the location and time that are the real reason for the pics more than me.

few more from the same day, not the same league (by my standards ) and last one will show the muck on my car.

This was my first 'proper' Team-BHP meet (one where I was present from start to finish - the Chennai Mahabalipuram meet was one where I couldn't take part 'properly'). Here's my attempt at a meet report.

All photographs have been taken with my Canon IXUS 70 - most of them in 'auto' mode until Rudra Sen told me to change the mode to 'manual'.

I got on to the Hebbala flyover at 2:45 pm as planned - drove very slowly since I could easily spot and pick up any folks in case they were waiting at the Hebbala flyover bus stop. Took the first exit (towards Tumkur) and crossed the Hebbala railway station on my left. Drive ahead a short distance to find an Indigo parked on the left lane - turns out to be Paresh (newbie). We get chatting and soon, a Corolla comes to a halt but not before some drama - 2 guys on a moped haven't seen the Corolla's blinking left indicators and they almost ram into the Corolla's rear. This turns out to be Jedi.Knight.

The 3 of us have barely introduced ourselves to each other when a City arrives - it is muralisk. Immediately after this, a spanking new Accent comes up - Lukeskywalker & wife. By this time, an alert traffic police constable on the lake side of the ORR has spotted us and signals us to move. We decide to park a little ahead of the next curve and Lukeskywalker & I spot more traffic policemen - we then decide to head to Big Bazaar.

We park on the service lane (a joke of a road) opposite Big Bazaar and wait as members start arriving. Jaggu, Rudra Sen and iceman91 are among the last ones to arrive - a round of introductions and we start off. iceman91 excuses himself and leaves.

I follow Lukeskywalker

At a traffic signal, akroy & family in their Alto behind me

Jaggu & Rudra Sen in the Swift take a right turn at a fork and I follow. While we wait for the others:

To be continued...
