From past experience, there is no real confirmation until we see the faces that turn up on D-day. But I could say it should be around 25 and more surely.

Can you do it Sir? The getting the pics organised bit!

Ofcourse, guess most of us are there to get to meet the people and our previous experience with having the press people around was not funny!

I second that.
And like E_L said, if they can be mute or mere participants, it makes sense.
Else they spoil the atmos.

I remember 2 photographers hired by Mahindra and Mahindra participate in our Kelambakkam Quarry Jeep trek meet, and they were well behaved and never intruded in any of the activity and were mere spectators. It was nice.

If not the one who is bringing the reporter knows him personally and can vouch for his nice behavior (LOL) lets not take the risk.

How about a vote for this too? [heh how many pages and how many Polls for a Bajji??]

I recommended M'kuppam to a friend and family and they did it last Saturday.

While they liked the rides (water scooter and banana boat), they felt the rates were a little too steep for the small duration of the ride. IIRC, they mentioned the rates to be 600Rs on the scooter and 400Rs for the banana boat (both for 5mins I think).

If anybody is near Virugambakkam they can make a visit to this shop on Kaliyamman Koil Street, on the left hand side when you come from Arcot Road, the place is easily recognizable as its quite crowded during evenings. He makes abour 4 varieties of bajji / bonda, super stuff. You could have one plate in each (2 bajjis a plate) of the variety and still end up paying about 20 bucks.

Where Arcot Road meets kaliamman Koil Street is the market, are you talking about the junction of the market or further inside, where the MTC buses take a turn and has a stop? This bus stop has a garment export factory and some buiscuit making factory near by?

It is bang opposite to the Varadaraja Perumal Temple (I think I have got the temple name right), if you are coming from Arcot road its between the Balambika Marriage hall (AKR Marriage Hall) on the same road that takes you to Chinmaya Nagar.

I remember the Chennai Jets (The RD 350 club) being covered by the Indian Express a while ago...it turned out that the pics when published were of such poor quality that you couldnt make out if those were RD's or Luna's

The report text was no great shakes either with a lot of the most important gyaan that we had given them being omitted

Might just be that "my" experience with IE hasnt been upto the mark...they could have changed for the better now
