Well, I have some suggestions for you to kill time:-
  1. Go around and try all the food joints there---do you get anything other than tadpoles there (Note:Tadepalligudem)
  2. Go 'balle balle' on the village belles bathing in that pond.
  3. Share automobiles gyaan with the rural folk.
So when are you back to civilization?

Ravvs---have a nice trip.

hehehe. ok so for starters i did happen to watch 'magadheera' in a typical whistle and coin throwing kind of atmosphere. never ever im my life i have watched a movie with so much of fanfare around me and that too for INR 15.

have been clicking pictures of the beautiful scenary this place is blessed with( there are vast open areas of paddy fields which are lush green and a treat to the eye)

been training the fellows here and trust me i am amazed on the way these guys are grasping( though they are not the think "out of the box" types but then one should appreciate the fact that they are looking beyond farming/irrigation.

lunch is typical banana leaves par paapu(daal) rice ,papad and some super spicy achar.

had these special sweets made by the locals here( something which looked like a paper but was supposed to be eaten, though from last half hr something is happening in my tummy )time for pudin hara.

will be back to hyd thursday evening

1. That spectacle is better than the movie. Best fun is when two opposite camps of fan clubs have an opening on the same day - it is WAR.

2. The lush green is in grave danger courtesy the truant monsoon.

3. Those 'paper' sweets are called puta-rekulu they look and taste light but are full of ghee! Tadepalligudem area is famous for Kazas which look like bakerwadi but are sweet. Another sweet in that area is 'pheni'.

4. Try the local fish & sea food fry, curries etc.

@ Venu saab - thanx for the good wishes.

Cheers,

Dude, there is no sign of you for miles together and the minute someone mentions a vintage automobile, you pop out like the jack in the box
