Bangalore TBHP drive to Yercaud on Aug 16, 2009.

Its been a really long time since we did a long drive. So how many are ready to drive down to Yercaud on Aug 16th and get back home by nightfall?

Yercaud is 222kms from Bangalore, connected by some of the best roads in this side of the country. Its a very beautiful place.
Yercaud, Hill Station, Yercaud Lake, Yercaud Hotel

So get the confirmations rolling in immediately as we hardly have a week left.

Next week is K1000, and one week after that is the Bangalore drag. Dates make it seem unlikely.

IIRC, K-1000 is from the 22nd.

Guys, I'll be in a resort close to Kabini for this long weekend and will check out only by about 12.00 noon on Sunday. Won't be able to make it this time. :(

I am planning to drive there sometime soon, so inputs from you will be of great help.

Since its nearly 400kms for the Chennai anna's I doubt they would come. I shall put a word across to the regulars from Chennai. I have sent invites to the regulars from Coimbatore. Awaiting their replies.

From Chennai, it's around 210 kms to Yelagiri. Chennai-Vellore-Ambur-Vaniambadi-Yelagiri
