I dont know how many will join in for this time because of Swine Flu. But still i am available.

Last but not the least GOGI Sir waiting for your call/pm on this one.

Are wah here we go again.

I am always in for this. Lets keep it like last time which on a non Badi Raat evening. That way the crowd is less and walking around is much easier. Just post when.

I'm in for any night next week. I can still taste those sheekh kebabs from last time!
Mid week is a good idea so we can avoid the massive crowds.

Wow!! ok guys whose in it for the Ramadaan street food crawl sometime next week. A week day would suit me fine.

We could start at the roll walla at Bohri Mohallah and take a stroll in that area. I am told even Mahim is a great place. Haven't been there for a long time now. What say we start at Mahim and stroll towards BM?

Day and time guys.

Having moved back to Mumbai from Delhi, was lamenting missing the sights, smells and taste of old delhi during Ramadaan. No more self pity!

Throwing in a date: Does the night of Thursday the 27th work?
(I have to sustain a week of vegetarian food in Chennai after that date)

Ramzaan Mubarak to all of you.

Just an update to all foodies.
Hyderabad is famous for its Haleem.
There are many places that claim to be the best and many are.
But there is only one that is available online.

Welcome to Pista House .: Home :.
http://www.gati.com/Gatishop2/productinfo.jsp

I have ordered this for my Parents in Chennai, last year. Found the service quite decent.

In Hyderabad, with its many options, I don't generally buy Pista House.
Its not my favorite.

Disclaimer:
I have nothing to do with Pista House or anything concerned with it.
Eaten the Haleem a couple of times and thats about it.

Oh we will eat. We will eat. Oh we will eat and how. Good wholesome, masaledar MEAT!

And the rest of you guys had best hope that Gautam and I don't get into one of our senseless laughter fits. Because that will really make our tummies hurt.

27th sounds like fun. so what guys? is it on for the 27th? Someone just told me to avoid mahim as that place is the pits. I have not been there for ages so best to stick to places we know best kya? My plan is to assemble at Ayubs. That way the vegetarians can get some serious food into their stomachs and we can have starters
Then off to Bohari Mohalla for Nan Sandwhich, roll and some tikkas (for the unadventerous) Then Vallibhai for paya and sukha and on to Minara Masjid for some serious sweet rabdi and fruitella. I still want an adress to dig into some biryani.

Alternatively, all of us meet at Delhi Durbar at Grant Road, Veggies will have a good time too. The menu of the visit will be as under:

Mutton Chops,
Nalli Nihari (amongst the best ive had)
Dabba Gosht
White Chicken
Bheja Masala
Mutton Biryani (pl note, not Chicken)/Biryani Rice with White Gravy.
Burnt Crisp Roti/Rumali

Vegetarians, im sorry i have never eaten veg food here but have gone with a lot of veggie friends who have enjoyed their meals too.

Abhi bolo kahan chalna hai??
We can have all or some of the above. Dont try anything else, im sure they are great to but these are amongst the best you will get anywhere

i am in!
Here's a thought though - 27th is the 5th day of Ganpati, doesnt that mean that there will be huge rush due to Visarjans on that day? If thats the case, perhaps 26th may be a better idea?
