Breakfast Meets are back!!!
Would love to join you guys for the breakfast meet, as that seems to be the only meet I can make offlate.
In case we are having a breakfast meet, then there are a few more new eatries to tbe added. As we've tasted Laxman's the last time, we can go in for Govind's. Its tried and tested and is sure to appease one and all. Govind's Butter Dosa, Tawa Idly, Tawa Wada are somethings to die for.
There are a lot of new finds/places worth visiting, that i've been frequenting.
We can either finish off the breakfast meet with a couple of Ice Creams at Famous Ice Cream, Mozamjaahi Market or Kulfi's at Bombay Natural Kulfi, Niloufer Hospital Road, Bazaar Ghat or Amritsari Kulfi, Near Hyderabad Nursing Home, Basheer Bagh
Link for my review of Kulfi's has been posted on A Guide: Eating out in Hyderabad/Secunderabad (http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/1827928-post1468.html)
Tentative Itinerary as follows:
Basheer Bagh >>> Pragathi Idly's >>> Dosa Eatery @ Begum Bazaar >>> Govind's Dosa Eatery >>> Famous Ice Cream
Check the map i've created with locations of the eateries, Click on the link to open the Google Map: Team-BHP Breakfast Meet May'10 - Google Maps
USP of each Breakfast Eatery
Pragathi Idly's: Soft Idly's served with tasty chutney and equally tasty podi.
Dosa Eatery @ Begum Bazaar: Serves tasty Butter Dosa's & Butter Idly's, instead of using pasteurized butter like Amul, he used unpasteurized butter "MAKKHAN".
Govind's: Butter Dosa's are something to die for. Tawa Wada and Tawa Idly are worth the try. Hardly would you find an eatery selling Tawa Wada and Tawa Idly. So, would be a refreshing change from the regular idli's & wada's.
Some more reviews:
Ravi's Butter Dosa: Butter Dosa is his speciality. Makes real tasty butter dosa with whole hearted helpings of butter thrown in. This adds that extra flavour to the Dosa. Makes it a hearty meal.
Laxman's: Butter Idly served with Chutney and Podi is a different experience. Also loved his Upma, its lovely and not many people know that he also serves Upma.
Scoops Idly: Serves tasty Ghee Idly's. Love Scooops Soft Idly's, topped with pure ghee.
Lingaiah's Tiffin Center: If you love spicy chutney, then this is the outlet I would recommend. I can vouch for this outlet, as have been frequenting this outlet for ages and would continue to do so for ages to come. Pipping Hot Idly with Spicy Chutney is surely a treat to tantalize those craving taste buds.
List of Breakfast eateries, woth visiting:
Taj Mahal Hotel, Abids
Pragathi's Idly, Kandaswamy Lane
Laxman's, Ghode Ki Khabar, Beerban Bagh
Lingaiah's Tiffin Center, Seetaram Bagh
Scoops Idly, Siddambar Bazaar
Breakfast Eatery near Begum Bazaar Fish Market, Begum Bazaar
Ravi's Butter Dosa, Gulzar Houz, Opposite to Agrawala Sweets
Govind's, Near Gulzar Houz, Gulzar Houz to QQSSA Road

Its Hot Summer and there is almost NIL activity in the Pan India TBHP Meet Section.
I will be again @ Hyderabad from 4th May to 14th May 2009.
Hope to meet you guys and how about a real jungle safari this time @ Srisailam where our Fazal bhai ventures?
Come on, I'm serious.

I'm really tired and sick of the heat here in Hyderabad and would like to venture out somewhere over this weekend.
Criteria for location is to drive no more than 350 Kms oneway and the options doing the round are:

Else lets go to the nearest Hill Station from Hyderabad to beat the heat.
If nothing else then it will be another 'controversial' Nightcruising to Sholapur. What say, Rajesh?
This time if 5+ vehicles, I suggest we do a one of a kind convoy formation drive on the highway with all vehicles with warning blinkers ON. Better safe than racing each other.
Imagine the spectacular view it will give + my usual photographic coverage during the entire mission.
