The correct name is "Ruci & Idoni" and they are not in GVK One Mall on Road No 1 but opposite Rainbow Hospital on Road No 10. Their 5-Course Breakfast is available only on Sundays from 9am to 12pm and is priced @ 299/- per head. I assume that taxes will be extra. Have a dekho at their pamphlet ... If weather is fine and there are no rains. Then lets plan the agenda this way

Leave Hyderabad latest by 8:00AM.
Reach NSD by 11:00AM
11:00AM-12:00PM ( Visit to that place Ravvs mentioned)
12:30PM-1:30PM ( Dip in the swimming pool)
1:30PM-4:00PM ( Lunch)
4:00PM Depart NSD and reach Hyderabad by 7:00PM

If above plan sounds ok, can someone take the initiative and call Vijay Vihar and find out if we can use the swimming pool even if we arent staying with them? If yes, what are their charges

3 hours to NSD?! Even an APSRTC laal gaadi will not take that long. Please for once let us not stop every 10 km, a nice non-stop drive will be more in order.

Vijay Vihar does allow non-resident guests to use their pool. We used the pool on our last drive to NSD. IIRC their charges are minimal.

Cheers,

Avi you'll take 3 hours to cover 140 Kms .

Anyways with the Ford GPW & Nano we would need to slow.

Cheers,
i have taken a few things into consideration for 3-hour duration.

a) What if we dont leave at 8am? This seems highly possible..LOL
b) There are a few vehicles who will be a bit slower. So lets plan in driving in a convoy. Not fast but at a steady pace
c) There has to be atleast one mandatory stop enroute for pictures et.all

Hmm, if we are not leaving at 8.00, let me sleep.

I am game for a stop en-route if you are buying me breakfast!

Uppal to NSD is normally done in 2 to 2.5 hours driving at sane speeds. If one really clips - it can be done in less time. It is better to reach by around 10 or 10.30 so if we plan to take longer, we better leave by 7 or 7.30.

Cheers

What you too hitching a ride? Why not lets all car pool in your bolero and go for this trip? 10 people inside, 10 people on roof of your car and rest of us hanging on the sideboard?

Come on dude, get your car. No hitching ride

If no one's buying, then that's a liability & I think it would go Clearance Sale. Will buy it off the 50% off sale.

Don't know about Andhra but there is no monsoon yet in Maharashtra.

I really wonder if there is anything special to see at NSD.
I am really looking forward for the pics of HYD team at NSD.

There is mention of pool,
Are you guys going to swim in hotel pool or NSD lake?

I think, this time , its largest HYD group ever for any drive.
