I guess we need to have 100 % sure confirmations from all and as early as possible since Suren has to tie up for buffet or a-la-carte catering and the need of the hour is a correct count.

Mobike, I need more time and will let you know ... saying yes and not turning up will skewer the figures/count and result in those attending having to pay for the bills of those confirmed but missing ... and that will be real sad! This meet cannot afford such confirmations.

Guys I'm in provided there is not more than 30-40 Km to and fro drive. So my choice will be the place on ORR. No outstation drives for me atleast for one month.

+1 to that . To get a fair estimate of people, Avi I suggest you discuss the menu with Suren and put it up. All those turning up for the meet can then pay a part amount in advance. People giving their confirmations and not turning up is a far too common thing on this thread and hence confirmations & numbers need to be taken with a pinch of salt

What : Mega Foodie Lunch Meet
When : July 3rd
Where : First Transit Hotel, Shamshabad ( Diagonally Opp to Hyderabad House while going towards Airport)
Time : 12:00PM ( Noon, not midnight)

We can meet at a predefined location like beginning to PVNR experessway or ORR and drive down together to get the feeling that its a drive meet

As this place is known to Suren. We can have a bit of our own way. Like bring your own sugarcane juice and order our snacks and food in advance ( if less than 15, we have to go ala-carte way)

So who else is game for this short drive-cum-foodie meet this saturday???

I was wondering why not drive to the Go-Karting place inside the airport and rip around for an hour before lunch?

That should satisfy our craving for speed and thrills.

Cheers,

Cheers,
Go - carting in under the morning sun is not exactly my idea of fun. So I'll give it a skip.

Ravvs, i experienced go-karting for the first time on highest go-kart track in the world. To be honest, i didnt quite enjoy it, i wouldnt want to swap it for the real driving experience.

Count me in as a spectator for sure !

Avi, try a single seater kart with a powerful engine and it would be fun. You would enjoy the slides on the corners. Trust me.

It all depends on the engine powering the kart.

Cheers,
I did try the single seater as well, not much fun, struggling to move forward.

Seating is too cramped for my height and built. Not sure if all go-karts are same sized. Also now that you mentioned, maybe the ones i drove were less powered.

Yeah, the look on his face seems to suggest that he got a notice that he's permanently banned from Team-Bhp ----no wonder Neera is gleefully happy!!
