Tapri meet in Pune - 15th August

Dear All,

Time we had a quick tapri meet again in Pune. The last time it was a great success with over 20 members attending the same.

This time I'd like to propose this on a saturday morning around 10:30 am at a convenient location to all. We can have a quick discussion on monsoon travel plans of each of the members attending and exchange ideas and suggestions.
Further members who want to go on a drive after the tapri meet can head out to some exotic location before the monsoons start. Will help as a good trip to compare the contrast that is brought in with the advent of monsoons.

Dhaval, Chevy_lover and notable others, you were absent in the previous tapri meet. Please make up for that.

So Punekars. Let the suggestions flow in about a venue for the planned tapri meet on saturday, 5th June at 10:30 am.

:( will not be able to make it since this week end it is trip to Navi Mumbai to family.

Sorry for going OT. Title of this thread brought memories gushing back. Especially the word "Tapri"

Having lived in Pune for a few years about a decade back, that word kind of etched into my mind.

Practically lived on Tapris those days in Bibewadi, Kothrud, Deccan, Koregoan Park etc.

Having visited Pune in recent past, tapri's somehow has lost some of its charm.

Nevertheless, a tapri meet with some vada pao and strong tea seems like good fun to catch up with fellow tbhpian's

What about Sunday the 6th June in that case?
Where are the punekars? It rained today and has set the expectations for a saturday or a sunday drive.

Guys, try and make it Sunday this time. I have never come for a meet before since Saturday mornings are a bit difficult. Sunday works great for me. I can show my Fiesta with the below mentioned gear (in the signature) to everyone.

Ohhh, I'm yet again going to miss a TBHP meet - Am leaving for Goa on the 4th morning, hopefully to welcome the monsoons... Enjoy people, and please post pics..

Saturday suits me, sunday - it all depends on how soon I finish morning meet with other group at sinhagad.

That's swell. We can meet at a location on Sinhagad road, have tea and then proceed to Sinhagad on Sunday.
