@ap. what punishment can be thought off for nix? had 26th been his wife's birthday and he forgotten it, we could have rewarded him instead. but with the other way around, we need to atleast come with a name.

nix. You have been Palloded (new term for kalti kings). we shall soon revert with a name for you.

Mani,

Since AP makes it every time I feel the term Palloded for kaltis is contradictory.

I propose that we take inspiration from our first kalti king's handle and term the kaltis NIXED or NIXER.

@AP. It was the same. He forgot his own birthday apparently it seems. Normally we forget our wife's birthday year after year (but remember what the reaction was every year). Surprisingly, I don't know how one can forget one's own birthday. I still remember when I was born though it was 35 years ago and I didn't realise that till a few years after birth.
Hence the punishment.

@Khoj. I thought palloded because Pallod catches Kalti king. Like Condored we say when there's a repost of joke.
May be we can think of another term like Unpalloded for this case.

Normally, one don't forget his wife's birthday!!

Just read this. Hoping that the fallout of the result has no impact on our trip.

Again, from what a friend told me, Satara and Sangli regions are sensitive areas and prone to communal clashes. So we will have to keep a watch on this now. This is turning out to be a bigger issue than the shutdown of the petrol pumps. All the more reason for caution since many of us would be going with our family.

This is something I am very concerned about. Already there are rumblings at home with this judgement coming up at the same time. :-(

Just a bit of plan change and I have updated the sheet. Will be leaving on 25th evening itself rather than 26th Morning.

Happy B'Day in Advance Nikhil.

[will be celebrating my wife's b'day on my way to Satara as it's on 24th. Promised her to gift whole valley of flowers instead of a bouquet]

Actually is Karad (60kms away from Satara on NH4 southwards) which is super-sensitive to communal clashes. I dont have memory of even minor incidents happening during my stay in Satara from 1985-1999 and visiting it frequently thereafter.

By the way best luck for the journey. Its truly beautiful place around this time.

Guys,

Yesterday Union cabinet and PM issued appeal to keep peace in the country after the court verdict.

This means only one thing, ..they expect some disturbances.
i am begining to think one way to maintain peace is stay at home

what do you think Bengyboyz. ?
