Mohsin and Nirmal, Guys I am really sorry for not posting about my rejuvenated car or let us say new car pics due to workload. I will definitely do it this weekend.

Most of the times, its a black / brown / red / blue color cars being detailed. Never seen any silver / white color cars. I do understand the gloss in silver / white would not be as visible as the famous color black but still...

whats your take ??

PS: I am on platinum metallic.

Quadra, you should check Notorious' White Verna. He's detailed it in the best possible manner, I'm all praises for his hard-work on the Beast.

@mkh and nirmal- you guys should plan one more meet and call us all.
Nice to know people on team bhp with same bandwidth.
One more TBHP detailing session please...

@quadra- i agree with you....white and silver do not have much gloss as the new dark metallic colors like the red and blue of I20.
MKH says that Sanjays car turned out to be otherwise...so lets wait and watch when his car pics are uploaded.

Somebody from Kerala please help me out,
Suggest me a shop in Cochin from where I can get original Meguir's, Turtle Wax or Waxpol products.
I am having a one year old Linea, hope a simple waxing process with a Carnauba wax (non abrasive) would be sufficient to protect the paint and give a superb shine. Guys, should any other process be done after waxing to keep the wax effect for a longer period.

White or silver will surely not give that much viewing pleasure when finished, as a dark car. However that said, a white is equally tough because when claying it, we can see so many contaminants and they just stand out clearly as compared to a dark car. The end result is very satisfying on a white too, cause the glow under the sun is very bright. It also depends on the paint quality on the car. Surely nothing that beat the dazzle a black gives, that's why most pro detailers show off dark colours when displaying their work. I have done a silver i-10 too, and the reflections on that were excellent post completion.
@Hemantbsutar- thanks for posting us in the TBHP directory! All kudos to TBHP for getting us going in this field!
@ Sanjay- no probs man, considering that you are still a newbie even after 10 months on the board, i know how tough it is for you to spare time to post!
@Quadra- it is pearl white

Definitely go for Meguiars Gold Class!!

I use it and its really gentle to the paint and does an excellent job of cleaning the paint without removing the existing wax coat!

Use a spray wax after drying or during drying for a 'just waxed' look!

You get them in Chennai through

CONTACT US : HIPER SHINE & GROOMING ENTERPRISES

I had contacted them couple of weeks ago for Meg products, but felt the prices are on the higher side and opted to get them shipped from US.

If price is not a concern then pay a visit to their office in T-Nagar.
