Default "fuel mixture adjuster"

hey all guys!

hope everybody's doin good. well firstly i posted a question on http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/techni...remapping.html (Engine Remapping) regarding enfine remapping of a baleno.

do u guys think this will work and if so can u tell me who can do this in delhi? also how much do u think this will affect the FE and life of the engine?

what say experts???\

I too had this idea but never tried..

There are lot more ways to mimic petes bbox. Just by telling lies to the ecu..

tweak the o2 sensor, to tell the ecu that mixture is too lean.. so that the injectors are open a little longer and get more fuel, and a lot more tricks like that.. more thoughts..

Tweaks like that might give you a few horses (read 1 or 2) but not more than that specifically coz, more fuel needs more air and obviously a better spark to ignite, also ignition will have to be advanced to get the best out of this. There is no way you can alter the ignition curve by this method hence it will not be reliable.

Yes ECU's can be fooled and have been doing so for a long time however, they can add benefit based on the mods done.

You are right psycho... one may end up dash board full of potentiometers
