Manson, i Second you on your opinion that a header modification wit out corrrect specs will screw up the top end unless the header length is tuned..
If the header length, (length from exhaust-manifold to collector) is reduced, it tends to increase the top end but at the same time reduce the low end so bad that it can be a pain to drive in traffic. If the header length is increased, it tends to increase the low-end and mid range torque and speed...
So Does Automech tune the headers based on these requirements or is it a standard size for one particular car model??
Revvhead, Did you feel any drop in your Balenos lowend??

Headers i believe are more or less standardised for these guys.
Losing my bottom end was a big fear for me & i had told them that in no way do iwanna do that, coz face it at the end of the day, the poor car spends most of its time stuck in traffic, so its really reqd.

No idea here, but i thought longer header= loss of bottom end/ incr in top end. Correct me if i'm wrong

Anyway, havent felt the loss of bottom end. Top end as i said need more road to find out.
