Hi Iceman,

It is great that you got it changed for Baleno and got results. Is any person have used Mr Somender Singh's mods on thier cars/two-wheelers ?

Hey guys,

I had a RX135 which was done-up by Singh before. He's just great with Yams! My bike had an FE of 50 Kmpl (Yezdi tyres & rim, KRP chamber, modded piston and crankshaft) with a top speed of 130 kmph! He's also done a great job with my friend's Zen too.

Since I visit Mysore quite often, I can go down to his workshop some day and try to get some pics and more details.

Yeah right, my friend's RX 135 which regularly shows 120+kmph on the speedo, didn't even hit 100kmph when i tested it against my Vtec. My speedo showed 99kmph and taking the speedo error into account, my guess is we were actually doing around 95-96 kmph.

Test your bike with a GPS testing gear and you'll know how fast it really is.

20 in 4th i can believe, increased FE i can believe, but better acceleration and higher top speed, i can't. The engine will surely be peppier than before bcoz obviously his mods are getting the engine to produce peak torque at much lower roms (can't do 20kmph in 4th without this), this is also a reason why the FE has increased.

But, the down side of doing all this is reduced top end accleleration and top speed. And if your gear ratios haven't been recalculated, it's just not possible.

Default Groove In The Engine Head Improves FE & Torque

I just came across this theory from Mr.Somender Singh.......I want u guys to give ur opinions after reading this link.......

http://somender-singh.com/component/...page/Itemid,1/

What this theory suggests....makes grooves into engine head so that full combustion takes place...so that car can run much leaner without heating engine....so better FE.....& torque is improved too.....

Enjoy..............

His patent number I found is.............

Somender Singh says a radical design change in the face of combustion chambers, by forming grooves, channels or passages through the squish areas, will further enhance in-cylinder turbulence followed by multi flame front combustion, as contained in his US Patent 6237579. Do-it-yourselfers might consider cutting some grooves to approach the effect. (PESN; Oct. 13, 2005)

Kindly go thriugh his site to know more & comment.

Enjoy
