Almost... the difference between brands is very minor... international brands are very competetive in quality and undergo rigorous tests...

STP, Bardhal are one of the best....

The biggest issue with engine protectors is that they have to chemically be in sync with the Engine Oil,, its a chemical Process !! ,, ur best results would be assured only if u use OWS engine Oil .. then it would make sense..

not necessarily...Its recommended not forced...! If this was case then people in the US would have sued the companies..for one person might like using STP Engine Flush and OWS Engine Oil..and if it does not work..his car is gone..So..That can never be the case..! Use what you think is the best....!

Another case is that You may use Gillete Series Foam for shaving but like to use a Regular Razor than Gillete Mach 3 or maybe Old spice Aftershave instead of Cool Wave of Gillete..!

Its just a Marketing strategy to sell same brand products..!

All these products have been in the market for a long time and have established thier worth beyond a doubt. Its only with experience one would know which brand performs better.

Since my car is under warranty, I have not yet gone into using these stuff. I did use NULON in my other car some years back and almost immediately I could notice a remarkable change in Power, FE and a complete stop to oil sump drips. In the end they work out pretty economical too, eventhough upfront they are quite steep. Moreover since these products don't have any negative side effects, one can give them a try.

So long....

Hey,
I have used NULON on three of my earlier vehicles - there was definite change in refinement, noise, vibrations and power. The FE did drop - cuz now I was enjoying the smoother power delivery!! (Actually, if you drive as you used to, the FE goes up by around 5-10%)

I have recently used NULON for my Palio. There is a definite change in sound, pick up, and FE. Although I cant give FE figures right away, earlier a tankful (41.5 L) used to take me 490 km. Now its done 490 (with 40.5 L), and am confident of another 30-40 km at least.

I've also used STP and Bardahl - but I think NULON is the best among these.

FE up by 10 - 15 % just by an oil additve?
Does that mean that Nulon is better than using pure synthetic oil?

10-15% increase is sure shot While oil does its part in the lubricating system to quite an extent it does not have the ability to seal fine scratches and micro pits in the Cylinder Liners. Also it leaves a fine film of tefflon on all the moving parts. This reduces noise, friction and thereby heat. In fact, Nulon would extend the life of your Engine oil.

The Australian manufacturers claim that they have driven a Holden car just with Nulon and without engine oil with no damage caused to the Engine. Having used this product in both cars and bikes I can believe them without a doubt.

One needs to follow their instructions of usage very very carefully and I can promise you, you won't be disappointed. Just follow these insructions ;
1. Before replacing the Engine oil have the engine flushed.
2. Drive the car for about 3 Kms and when the Engine has reached its optimum temperature, pour the contents of the can (it just like a beer can) into the engine with the engine running all the time. Put a little fresh oil into the Nulon can, shake it well and pour it into the engine. Drive for about 5 Kms after this operation ( preferably more if possible).
3. Your normal oil change can continue as usual. Nulon is good enough for 30,000 KM or 1 year whichever is earlier.

Waiting to here your feedback,

So long....

Tata is offering Bardahl through their TASC's. Have opted for it [just had my second service]. Major thought right now is how much worth of Bardahl did they add for what they have charged me..
